Morning Bunny

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2005 10:49 - 543 of 24230

Morning Opto! :>)
Danish and a pot of tea?

optomistic - 09 Feb 2005 11:10 - 544 of 24230

Bit of a delay in replying there Bunny but yes please.

hilary - 09 Feb 2005 11:39 - 545 of 24230

My husband wants to know if you can sort him out a Danish too, please Bunny.

Brigitte Nielson scares him a bit, but if you've got anything aged around 30, long blond hair (aren't they all?), 34-23-34 he'll be happy and it'll take the pressure off me.

hilary - 09 Feb 2005 11:40 - 546 of 24230

And he says not to worry about the Rosy Lee.

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2005 11:44 - 547 of 24230

LOL Hils!!!
I'll see what I can do for you
;>)

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2005 14:31 - 548 of 24230

Cornish pasties and apple turnovers just baked and ready
for wrapping in a napkin and munching whilst screen watching!
:>)

snoball - 09 Feb 2005 14:33 - 549 of 24230

Right stockbunny, I'll have one each of those please and a coffee.

optomistic - 09 Feb 2005 14:37 - 550 of 24230

Hello Snoball, surprising how folks pop in when food is mentioned. I'll just have a coffee please, I'm on a diet until dinner time!!

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2005 14:47 - 551 of 24230

I could wind the clock forward to 6pm if you like Opto?
;>)

Afternoon Snowie!!!
Here you go, piping hot and wrapped up snug..
How's your day going?

snoball - 09 Feb 2005 14:49 - 552 of 24230

Afternoon opto & stockbunny. It is cold and overcast down here in Sussex. I am having second thoughts about going for a walk on the beach. I just might investigate the channels available on my new freeview box.

snoball - 09 Feb 2005 14:52 - 553 of 24230

What's television-X?
It doesn't work.

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2005 14:58 - 554 of 24230

No idea but probably some late night adult channel at
a rough guess! Its cloudy and boring here also Snowie
although the sun is trying to make an appearance and it's not
as cold as yesterday so an improvement of sorts!

7thFloor - 09 Feb 2005 15:57 - 555 of 24230

I'm just going up to the 'smoking' room. Has Spacey left anything for me?

Spaceman - 09 Feb 2005 16:00 - 556 of 24230

Just popping in while the boss is out!
7thfloor, infinte supply up there.

Stockbunny, cornish pasty was nice thanks.

stockbunny - 09 Feb 2005 16:03 - 557 of 24230

How's today going?

Socrates - 09 Feb 2005 16:37 - 558 of 24230

Good evening all, whats cooking?

chocolat - 09 Feb 2005 17:12 - 559 of 24230

Hello Socks!

Not a lot of people know this...

Many years ago, pub frequenters had a whistle baked
into the rim or handle of their ceramic cups. When they needed a refill,
they used the whistle to get some service. "Wet your whistle"
is the phrase inspired by this fact.

chocolat - 09 Feb 2005 17:15 - 560 of 24230

Back in the good ol' days when customers got unruly, the bartender would yell at them "Mind your pints and quarts, and settle down." It's where we get the phrase "mind your Ps and Qs"

7thFloor - 09 Feb 2005 17:55 - 561 of 24230

In my local when time is called, the landlord yells 'Time!' This is where we get the phrase "F**k off you w****r!"
:-)
