Cor blimey...you lot all come in a rush

Now GD, let's get this straight from the start..I'm the one who gets the boddies massage, the creamier the better.

Oh, I've lost the thread now

And that's another thing...champers? Corkscrew?

This_is_me - 28 Apr 2004 09:56 - 5436 of 23498

The children were learning a new skill yesterday - washing dishes by hand. Well they are girls and everyone knows that while washing up liquid is very bad for the male skin, it makes girls hands as soft as their faces. The 7 year old wants another go tonight as she was forced by big sister to dry and didn't get a chance to get up to her elbows in soapy water.

I bought a Miele dishwasher (thanks for the advice jj50) which should arrive before the novelty wears off completely.

stockbunny - 28 Apr 2004 10:15 - 5437 of 23498

Poochy - I want one of those dish-washer-thingees installed in
the kitchen! T-I-M - all I can say is you shameless male you...
if you're not doing the washing up, I take it you are redundant/obsolete
in the kitchen???? (giggle, one back for the sexist joke you made earlier!)

What a gloriously revolting day it is today!
Rain, rain, rain....In view of this...

Lunch Menu.
Jamacian Spiced Chicken Salad
Salsa Chicken with rice & salad
Southern Bar-B-Q Ribs with Fries and Boston baked beans.
Greek Salad with feta.

Jam Rolly-polly and custard (just for you chaps!)
Passion Fruit with Mango and yoghurt.

And for further afters.....
Grilled Chippendale with whipped cream (for us ladies!)

Well guys if you want to change the menu, you gotta get in before the
bunny in the morning!!!!!!

This_is_me - 28 Apr 2004 10:27 - 5438 of 23498

Bunny I'm not redundant in the bedroom! In the kitchen there is always my speciality - rabbit pie!

stockbunny - 28 Apr 2004 10:46 - 5439 of 23498

Ah!! On form are we this morning T-I-M!
I'll have to make sure I hide behind Socs when he comes in,
if you're in rabbit pie threatening mood!!!

jj50 - 28 Apr 2004 11:01 - 5440 of 23498

T-I-M Glad to hear the dishwasher is ordered. Only hope it arrives before you have totally confused your daughters as to their future role in life!

It may be Spring but I don't know which bunny would find more frightening - your pie or the idea of you in the bedroom!!!

Heading out in to the sunshine - double capuccino please!

vasey - 28 Apr 2004 11:24 - 5441 of 23498

nice one, jj! Good to see a few of the girlies coaxing the men to come out of the cave....

Edit: Just glanced at the clock and decided it's n-e-a-r-l-y lunchtime, so time for a glass of chilled pink sancerre, I think.......anybody who cares to join me is most welcome....there's plenty. My mate Socs ordered a crate when DYS went up again this week......thanks, Socs.

snoball - 28 Apr 2004 11:41 - 5442 of 23498

vasey, i'll join you for a sancerre....lovely stuff.
I'll have a do'nut with that as well.

vasey - 28 Apr 2004 11:49 - 5443 of 23498

Those nice ones they do from Pret a Manger, snoball?

I did an evening class in the Autumn which lasted from 6.30-9 so there was a break at half-time. One of the students worked at Pret and he brought a bag of stuff they were going to bin if it didn't find a good home and that's where most of us 'discovered' muffins, do'nuts, wheat-free sandwiches etc.

But as we all stared to balloon with all those calories, we voted to cut out the snack-break for the next term ...

A rare treat these days.....but those cinnamon danish.......!

little woman - 28 Apr 2004 12:04 - 5444 of 23498

Afternoon all,

just having my lunch consisting a large packet of M&M's - better not eat any actual food...............

stockbunny - 28 Apr 2004 13:01 - 5445 of 23498

JJ50 - (hee-hee!!) Love it, nice one and so true!! I keep
joking about a Chippendale, but chances are I'd have to read
up first as I doubt I'd remember what to do with him!! They
don't come with instructions these days do they?? (giggle)
Sunshine???? What sunshine??? I wish, we've just got rain...

Little Woman - ohhh ummm...a whole bag of M&M's, I wont tell
if you wont tell... (about the large bag of Revels I'm munching
my way through!!)

Hi Vasey!! and Hi Snowie!!

jj50 - 28 Apr 2004 15:02 - 5446 of 23498

Vasey, snowball, little woman I am trying not to eat all those donuts, sweeties or drink too much wine this week, but reading about them I just have to head off and open a packet (or two)! I am the one who is going to have to go to the gym if this goes on. Currently reduced to stealing a tube of Smarties from another member of the family - getting really desperate.

Stockbunny, I think we just have to get in a supply of baby oil and hope for guidance!? I am sure it will come back to us.

GD, A belated "thank you" for the warning about the other guys but my mother said it was the "quiet, shy ones" you have to watch out for!

Socrates - 28 Apr 2004 17:22 - 5447 of 23498

'Evening all, lovely wet day to keep all that lovely grass green and healthy.

Vasey
Hello and happy DYS to you. Annual run up to the final divi started a bit early? Glad you like the plonk, it came over from frogland in someones duty free party run. 4p a bottle. I don't normally pay that much for wine but since it was for you I couldn't resist it.

optomistic - 28 Apr 2004 18:07 - 5448 of 23498

Socs I'm sure Vasey will appreciate your generosity in your wine selection (I think)

jeffmack - 28 Apr 2004 19:05 - 5449 of 23498

Greetings, just been FCUKing drenched walking from the station to home

Socrates - 28 Apr 2004 19:08 - 5450 of 23498

Opto
It's the thought that I went to all the trouble to obtain it that counts, not the price. Actually it is not her favouite tipple, our Vasey is partial to a flute or two of VC.

dotel - 28 Apr 2004 19:45 - 5451 of 23498

..and not averse to the odd glass or three of Kir either, eh Vasey ;)

I've just walked into something (silly me) and I need someone to rub it better. Actually, I'll go and hunt for some Witchazel

PS I only got drenched, jm - lucky you
