CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

FROM TODAYS LEADERS AND LAGGARDS:

CMS WebView rose 10.2% to 18.75p. On 10 November it confirmed it is considering a fundraising. If it launches a scheme, funds secured will be used for increased marketing of its existing products.

Hi Sue

Sorry to hear you have not been well but hopefully you will be fireing on all cylinders soon.

Well CWV is still going well but maybe not at the pace expected after the last couple of days last week. However we have yet to receive any news and 18 odd % rise over 2 days is still very good especially after the messing from the MM's.

Personally I dont think that there is anything to worry about and we should continue on a nice climb, of course expect the normal tree shakes. I did note that these were less this afternoon.

Keep taking the lemsips

Hi Sue
Hope you're feeling better. I wanted to buy another tranche today and was just about to buy at 18p when it went straight up to 19.5p. Crystal ball question: do you feel it is still a deal to buy around the current level or too risky now?
Regards
Anna

Hi Martin and thanks. I am taking the lempsips although I don't like the taste!

Hi Anna, Even at 19.5 pence to buy the price is still too cheap Anna, this is based on the news I am expecting. So I would take the opportunity to add at these prices.

I believe you may have to pay a premium for large blocks though, as a 100,000 buy had to pay 20 pence today when the offer price was at 19 pence. A penny extra. In addition, a 50,000 buy had to typically pay 0.5 more than the offer price, a 50,000 buy at 19.5 pence when the offer was at 19 pence.
Also, the online buy limit was only 1,000 shares in the afternoon whereas the sell limit was at 150,000. The MMs do not wanna sell too many at these prices as one of the MMs (WINS) have been leading the price rise since 06/11/03. Either there is a stakebuilder or they know some terrific news is imminent.

Otherwise, pleased with the close, more good gains should be forthcoming tomorrow and rest of the week.

GoodNight.

Sue.

Thanks Sue - holding a stake now of 200,000 shares (100,000 at 10.5 and 100,000 at 17.75 - obviously wish I had topped up sooner) and was contemplating more but got scared at paying 19.5 - will be watching the screen in the morning and late afternoon so fingers crossed....
hope you are back to feeling OK tomorrow

Anna

Sue, apologies a 25% stop lose would have kept u in during intra day swings. To day trade this share is a little pointless, but to position trade could be very profitable as the price movements are becoming quite predictable. As u will be aware cwv is now a 10 bagger for some lucky investors having climbed from a low of 1.625p on the 4th august.Mind u average daily volume then was 10,000 shares.

sweet dreams (cwv)

Some useless information. On 22 August 2000 cwv hit a high of 16p.

momentum:

are u not happy about this share?

momentum - 26 Nov 2003 08:12 - 557 of 1924

Hi, Anne? Long term very happy. Short term a little nervous, herd mentality. When the first wave of profit taking starts, weak holders will rush for the exit it may be difficult to sell in any quantity if the mm have enough stock. However long term will be time to top up. But i dont like to lose a profit and when your holding 1000 s of shares 10 - 15p can amount to a tidy sum. Sue helen is probably correct on this share over the next few weeks and i will go with the trend with 25% stop loss. Decreasing this stop as it moves higher. At 30p ill have 20% 50p 15%. Preserving some profit. Hopefully i will stay in, but if im stopped out, At some point ill be reinvesting all the proceeds back into cwv.

ps If you read some of the comments on other boards ( taxi driver tipping )Short term time to sell.

Could be an interesting day, down 0.62p. Obvious tree shake until pending news is out?

momentum - 26 Nov 2003 08:28 - 559 of 1924

Buys still coming in 18.5 / 19p looks like another positive day.Over to u Sue

Fairly obvious what's happening. Tested 1 online broker, would fill up to 6K but not anything over.
