Vasey, snowball, little woman I am trying not to eat all those donuts, sweeties or drink too much wine this week, but reading about them I just have to head off and open a packet (or two)! I am the one who is going to have to go to the gym if this goes on. Currently reduced to stealing a tube of Smarties from another member of the family - getting really desperate.

Stockbunny, I think we just have to get in a supply of baby oil and hope for guidance!? I am sure it will come back to us.

GD, A belated "thank you" for the warning about the other guys but my mother said it was the "quiet, shy ones" you have to watch out for!

Socrates - 28 Apr 2004 17:22 - 5447 of 23498

'Evening all, lovely wet day to keep all that lovely grass green and healthy.

Vasey
Hello and happy DYS to you. Annual run up to the final divi started a bit early? Glad you like the plonk, it came over from frogland in someones duty free party run. 4p a bottle. I don't normally pay that much for wine but since it was for you I couldn't resist it.

optomistic - 28 Apr 2004 18:07 - 5448 of 23498

Socs I'm sure Vasey will appreciate your generosity in your wine selection (I think)

jeffmack - 28 Apr 2004 19:05 - 5449 of 23498

Greetings, just been FCUKing drenched walking from the station to home

Socrates - 28 Apr 2004 19:08 - 5450 of 23498

Opto
It's the thought that I went to all the trouble to obtain it that counts, not the price. Actually it is not her favouite tipple, our Vasey is partial to a flute or two of VC.

dotel - 28 Apr 2004 19:45 - 5451 of 23498

..and not averse to the odd glass or three of Kir either, eh Vasey ;)

I've just walked into something (silly me) and I need someone to rub it better. Actually, I'll go and hunt for some Witchazel

PS I only got drenched, jm - lucky you

optomistic - 28 Apr 2004 19:59 - 5452 of 23498

Seems I have a lot to learn about our ladies likes and dislikes.
Little disapointed with your independance Dotel, it would be no problem to assist you with your injury with a little gentle massage, perhaps its because you dont know us too well yet? :-))

vasey - 28 Apr 2004 21:13 - 5453 of 23498

The kir in that bar was of quite a high order, dotel. And I consider myself something of an expert...... But usually in this, even higher class of establishment, I stick to Socs' personal stash of champagne.

By the way, Socs, did you see those 38k of after-hours buys go through on DYS this evening? Could be an up day tomorrow.....

Golddog - 28 Apr 2004 21:14 - 5454 of 23498

Nice to see all those lovely ladies in here today, vasey, jj, littlewoman, bunny and dotel, please remember that poochy the dog likes to be stroked between pints! and dotel i have noted down that you enjoy creamy massage sessions.

Bunny, Your doing a great job with the menu, some nice stuff on their and no rabbit pie option for timmy.

jj, Are you an actual Scottish lass or just moved up there?

jeffmack, I think we shall have a horse race on the 8th.

Golddog - 28 Apr 2004 21:15 - 5455 of 23498

Hi Vasey, What is Kir?

vasey - 28 Apr 2004 21:17 - 5456 of 23498

Creme de Cassis and white wine...... it should just add a little colour and be a subtle blend. Not like boozy ribena!

Golddog - 28 Apr 2004 21:27 - 5457 of 23498

You are a wonderful mind of info Vasey especially in the world of 'liquid in a bottle' stuff and i see your friend dotel knows a thing or two also, the fact she picked me up on the champers corkscrew comment tells me im in for a hard time one way or another!

bye bye.
:-)

jj50 - 28 Apr 2004 21:28 - 5458 of 23498

Go for the Kir Royale - the champagne just adds the extra kick! What do you think Vasey? Shall we make it Kir Royale all round? I don't think M & Ms are the accompaniment though! What would you recommend Bunny?

GD, Scottish born, at school here then lived away until five years ago, when I returned. Is that good enough?!

Was hoping tomorrow would be a bit better as a rather dismal day today but not looking too good with the fall in the Dow.

Have a good evening all!

jeffmack - 28 Apr 2004 21:30 - 5459 of 23498

GD, 8th sounds good to start the Gee Gees again

little willie - 28 Apr 2004 21:48 - 5460 of 23498

Ah, just wait until its 'Sweet Revenge'

Golddog - 28 Apr 2004 21:48 - 5461 of 23498

I'm still here but just about to go.

jj, too much info love! hee hee just joking. I'm still waiting for your shoe size?

jeffmack, we can have one game on the 8th then i'm off to spain for a while so miss a few weeks then maybe 2 more races after that.
:-)

and now i am off.

Ghosty: bye pooch.

vasey - 28 Apr 2004 23:07 - 5462 of 23498

jj....I'm a Bearsden lass myself.....and a kir royale sounds pretty good to me!

dotel - 29 Apr 2004 00:45 - 5463 of 23498

Bearsden, vasey? You never said!!

Aksherlee, guys, if you want a kick, a spot of brandy with champers slips down an abserloot treat...but Kir Royale is fine by me, jj.

And my leg still hurts...what a bozo! So opto and gd, I'm on the table, awaiting tlc...oh, and a re-fill

optomistic - 29 Apr 2004 08:19 - 5464 of 23498

Morning all, called in for a Bunny breakfast special but no Bunny!! whos stayed in the warren this morning then.
Dotel have to go out soon, all day so regretably will have to leave GD to care for you. Rumour has it that he's OK 'on the table' but do watch out for the 'iced fingers'.-)) have a nice day all.
opto

vasey - 29 Apr 2004 08:33 - 5465 of 23498

dotel....Sssshhhh! Most people think Bearsden is the Teddy Department at Hamleys. I usually admit to Glasgow at parties for that reason!
