a question for WOODIE on 30/1/06 you posted this in response to my question about an RNS about BEATING THE BLUES being used by BT-

"jon it does not warrent a rns as it is on trail at the moment the revenue from it is not worth talking about ,at the moment there are over 100 trails going on you cant have a rns for each one .with regard to stanelco different sector how many trails have they got going at the moment? not as many as ult."

QUESTION:- how could you possibly know there are over 100 trials going on? you also said the revenues were not worth talking about - how did you know this?

WOODIE - 07 Sep 2006 10:15 - 548 of 1525

jon for obvious reasons i cant commemt on the above only to add the next results will show the revenue if on trail and full take up.

How much more juice are there in this share? I can see sentiment / outlook in this shares seem strong, but for some reason, share prices is spiralling down hill since Feb/March.

I am not exactly a chartist, but seriously, I would benefit more by putting my money in a saving account than losing 50% of my money on this share over the past 6 months.

The word "Buy the winner and ditch the loser" kept ringing in my mind, I am very eager to dump this share. Anyone else think along the same line as me?

WOODIE - 13 Sep 2006 14:48 - 551 of 1525

sikhlaw when did you buy the shares?

slkhlaw - 14 Sep 2006 08:56 - 552 of 1525

I bought it at 2.2p, 2.8p and 3.2p, average out to be around 2.6p.

Sentiment in the trader's room was just as strong as now, i.e. ULT will trade over a pound, ULT on vertical take off, there is a huge market ULT will tab into with its stress monitoring program inbuilt into mobiles, watches, PDA, etc, etc. Blablabla...

Every reason is pointing at buying ULT. But over the many months have passed, I am still stucked in the red with 50% loss.

pension271 - 14 Sep 2006 09:13 - 553 of 1525

For its worth my average is just a fraction over 2.6p - and i am staying put. Long run there is good mileage with ULT - as per my long ago posts US and Canada markets also will help.

How do you feel having suffer 40-50% losses so far? I felt like I am a dummy,
having put quite a large chunk of my money into Ultrasis thinking it would turn into a pound in the future. I guess I am day dreaming.

I wonder when would there be the next company announcement, I know the director of the company would almost always deliver a very positive speech and whenever it happens, the share would just sky rocket upward and a few days later, when the storm dies down, the share price plunged down to earth again. I will take that opportunity to sell of the whole lot.

WOODIE - 14 Sep 2006 10:51 - 555 of 1525

sorry sikhlaw but it is not only ult that has suffered over the last 6 months ,that is quoted on aim, that has declined in the share price .when you brought the share how long did you think it would take to reach a pound?

slkhlaw - 14 Sep 2006 14:04 - 556 of 1525

Announcement back in February or sometime ago and I can't remember when that was, were saying they are confident that they would make a profit within a year or so. At that particular moment, I thought this is going to be a pounder share within a year or so.

6, 7 or 8 months have passed, EPS is still in the negative territory. The company is burning our money away. An experienced investor would say, if a company couldn't even deliver a positive earning, especially in the bull market, the company has no right to exist. And I think I have gone against the old saying and that is why it is burning me so badly.

gbrown100 - 19 Sep 2006 14:54 - 557 of 1525

So when are the results due now, shouldn't there be an update this month?

WOODIE - 19 Sep 2006 15:37 - 558 of 1525

gb taken from newsletter a few weeks ago
is our intention to issue preliminary results in the first half of October, subject to audit sign off, with the Annual Report to be released early in 2007, followed by the AGM shortly afterwards. I will firm up the dates in the next few weeks and issue details accordingly.

gbrown100 - 19 Sep 2006 16:53 - 559 of 1525

Thanks woodie - my subscription is messed up to the newsletter ATM, I reregistered the other day so here's hoping.

WOODIE - 19 Sep 2006 17:10 - 560 of 1525

pension271 - 26 Sep 2006 09:45 - 561 of 1525

Welcomed increase today - anyone know the reason??
thanks p/271

WOODIE - 26 Sep 2006 10:32 - 562 of 1525

robinhood - 26 Sep 2006 11:55 - 563 of 1525

No longer a holder, but believe that nada is going to happen with this company until "white paper" comes out 1st half next year. Intend to join you holders early 2007 as there is massive growth in the pipeline once the NHS get some dosh available- let alone overseas opportunities

WOODIE - 26 Sep 2006 12:11 - 564 of 1525

robinhood what price do you hope for in early 2007?

robinhood - 26 Sep 2006 12:22 - 565 of 1525

selfishly i hope and think more or less as per current lvl, however once our beloved civil servants at last will get their fingers out and stop talking to the point they themselves will need btb then a flow of orders should follow culminating to a sp in xs of 4

slkhlaw - 26 Sep 2006 17:56 - 566 of 1525

Ultrasis should update us on its Annual Report and Account ending 31/07 of every year. It is coming to the end of September now and we have yet to hear from them yet. I am nervous holding such a big chunk of shares on this company. Robin, can you enlight as what blockbuster have they got in their pipeline? I haven't been catching up with its recent development but as far as I could remember, they are not researching anything outside stress testing.
