Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

MaxK - 28 Sep 2016 09:12 - 5471 of 12628

Roomer on the wireless that Comrade Corby is going to give a speech this afternoon on immigration, basically saying come one, come all.

I suspect Sister Theresa will be in raptures.

Claret Dragon - 28 Sep 2016 10:15 - 5472 of 12628

Have they anyone in that cesspit of a party that is somewhere between Blair and Corbyn with any credibility?

Dil - 28 Sep 2016 10:18 - 5473 of 12628

Nice one Jeremy , another 100,000+ votes for UKIP.

The guy is fecking clueless.

jimmy b - 28 Sep 2016 11:57 - 5474 of 12628

He must be loving it .
Good old Nigel is hanging around to make sure we get Brexit .

ExecLine - 28 Sep 2016 12:02 - 5475 of 12628

Yes. We're with you, Nigel. Though I hope we don't have to give you a call.

VICTIM - 28 Sep 2016 12:04 - 5476 of 12628

VICTIM - 28 Sep 2016 12:06 - 5477 of 12628

Is that a new poster jimmy , I'll have that next to the other above the bed . Sleep tight .

grannyboy - 28 Sep 2016 12:18 - 5478 of 12628

Lets hope that when the GE comes round, that only the 600,000 idiots who
are members of that now extinct party of the BRITISH indigenous workers
that it was started up to represent, are the ones that vote and the voters of
Labour of the past vote for a party that WANTS TO LIMIT IMMIGRATION TO
THE SKILLS THAT THE COUNTRY NEEDS, AND INTENDS TO CONTROL THE UK'S BORDERS...

jimmy b - 28 Sep 2016 12:31 - 5479 of 12628

Yes VIC lovely isn't it .

cynic - 28 Sep 2016 12:36 - 5480 of 12628

TM may have wanted to remain in eu, but at least she has listened to what people voted for and is acting accordingly .... quite what finally emerges in 12 months or so is anyone's guess

JC has heard but clearly hasn't listen and wants to retain at least something close to open-door

jimmy b - 28 Sep 2016 12:43 - 5481 of 12628

I don't think TM did want to remain if the truth be known .

MaxK - 28 Sep 2016 15:08 - 5482 of 12628

The thoughts of Chairman Jeremy are on full view on the tele.

The audience is lapping it up....

VICTIM - 28 Sep 2016 15:25 - 5483 of 12628

They were doing that when he was announced as leader Max .

MaxK - 28 Sep 2016 15:48 - 5484 of 12628

Corbyn: Immediate thoughts....

A very, very inspirational speech. He did himself absolutely proud and I smiled when he reminded everyone how, compared with TM, he has a phenomenal electoral mandate, whereas she does not.

Undoubtedly, we will most definitely see 3 new Labour city mayors elected into Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool.

Very brave to say Labour would stop arms sales to Saudi Arabia. I do agree with it on the one hand, but what about SA just going on and buying these things from elsewhere? We would just be the financial losers and all the things wrong that SA does with them would stay the same for sure.

I do agree about stopping/preventing so much outsourcing and encouraging local councils to take things back into their own hands.

I like the ideas about education, housebuilding and taking certain things back into public ownership.

My dog is pestering! More later.

grannyboy - 28 Sep 2016 18:23 - 5487 of 12628

The new slogan from the pro-eu remainer's is soft brexit....

I SAY FECK SOFT BREXIT, ITS GOT TO BE 'HARD' BREXIT...

NO IF'S, NO BUT'S!!!!!!!

AND NOOOOOOOOOOOOO STITCH UP.......

grannyboy - 28 Sep 2016 18:37 - 5488 of 12628

Yes the marxist along with the socialist workers party were very impressed
and shown it with manic applause, similar to a birthday gathering for Kim Jung Un.

"I smiled when he reminded everyone how, compared with TM, he has
a phenomenal electoral mandate"

He might have amongst the half a million Labour members, but he CERTAINLY
WILL NOT have a mandate from the majority of sensible capitalist middle classes.

Fred1new - 28 Sep 2016 19:17 - 5489 of 12628

Can't hear you.

cynic - 28 Sep 2016 20:22 - 5490 of 12628

EL - lots of things may sound good, but how heavy a tax bill are you prepared to bear to pay for them? .... do you fancy going back the good old days of 98% or even 55/60%
