SUPERSCAPE - TECHNOLOGY FOR THE FUTURE. (SPS)

Happy1 - 03 Mar 2004 22:47

Superscape was founded nearly twenty years ago, and has been dedicated throughout its history to the development of ground-breaking software technology for the creation and delivery of innovative, high quality interactive 3D applications.
Over the years, Superscape has amassed unparalleled expertise and experience in the development of 3D software capable of working within the constraints of limited memory devices, slow processor speeds and strictly controlled file sizes.

Drawing on this knowledge, Superscape has established a world-leading position in the development of industry-standard 3D technology and applications for mobile devices. The company's Swerve technology has been developed specifically for wireless environments in close collaboration with ARM, and comprises a 3D engine (Swerve Client), authoring tools (Swerve Studio) and a broad portfolio of 3D content, with particular emphasis on 3D games. Swerve is being adopted on a global basis by many of the mobile industry's leading players, together with world-renowned content and brand organisations.

Superscape has corporate headquarters in Hook, Hampshire (UK) and San Clemente, California (USA) with regional offices in Tokyo and Sydney. The company is quoted on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SPS).

Superscape (SPS) has received various tips in the press and by Analysts recently which will certainly give impetous to the share price. Indicators are looking good with the RSI rising off an oversold position and the MACD crossing showing BULLISH signs for the stock.

The mobile gaming market is still in it's infancy but the projected revenue is enormous. Mobile operators are looking at tapping the Gameboy market as they feel that users will not want to carry around a multitude of technology and if they have a mobile phone which can double as a gaming station than people will prefer this option.

People should also look at the recent contracts which SPS have signed for their technology. This is a technology company which could well be a great success in 2004.

SUPPLEMENTAL FORM 8 (DERIVATIVE)

DEALINGS/HOLDINGS IN DERIVATIVES

(This form should be attached to Form 8.1, Form 8.1(b)(ii), Form 8.2 or Form
8.3, as appropriate)

Description of all derivative products disclosed on this A Contract for Difference or CFD is an agreement between
form two parties to exchange, at the close of the contract,
the difference between the opening price and the closing
price, multiplied by the number of reference shares
specified within the contract. The reference shares are
the underlying shares specified in the CFD. The economic
performance of the CFD is determined by the performance
of the underlying reference shares. Although CFDs
replicate the price movement of the underlying reference
shares, they convey no right or requirement to acquire or
deliver the physical shares. The contract value of a CFD
is defined as the number of reference shares specified in
the contract, multiplied by the price of the underlying
reference share. If a client of Man takes a long
position, the client will make a profit if the contract
value increases. Conversely, if a client of Man takes a
short position, the client will benefit if the contract
value falls. The CFD contracts detailed below are
open-ended and without predetermined expiry/close value.
A Spread Bet is a product whereby the client to whom the
product is sold can realise a gain or a loss depending on
whether the price of the underlying share increases above
or falls below the reference price. A client's Spread bet
position is described as the client's stake. A stake is
expressed in pounds (sterling) per point and a point is
the price in pence of the underlying shares. A client
with a stake of #100 per point will make a gain of #100
for every penny increase in the underlying shares and the
client has an exposure equivalent to holding 10,000
shares.

I've sold my holding; just look at that graph - I don't want to be last, do I?
/I have reservations that the young (presumably those with time on their hands and the eyesight to see these pesky screens) - are so lonely that they need to be downloading expensive material. SPS say yea, but there is little evidence IMHO - it's not as though mobile phones are new - they are practically at saturation levels.
Now go-on - if you feel lucky. Go buy, buy, buy, just to prove me wrong.

skids - 30 Aug 2005 12:37 - 553 of 707

SPS mentioned in Shares Mag I noticed today (last thurs copy I think). Listed as 1 of 6 hidden gems!

pinechris - 30 Aug 2005 17:22 - 554 of 707

it was also mentioned a while ago in Shares, when the shares were around 55p..... expecting a really good 4th quarter if I remember correctly, since then they have gone down and down and....

andrewbertram2003 - 01 Sep 2005 12:35 - 555 of 707

Lets not forget this..

The company said its mobile games will now be available on 16 of the company's targeted top 20 operators around the world including Verizon, China Mobile, Vodafone, Cingular, Sprint, Nextel, 02, AT&T, Alltel, Rogers, T-Mobile, Telefonica Smart tone, SKTelecom, Orange and 3.

Now....how will a paper contract convert into dosh at bank?

Annual results out around April 2006....will this show decent revenue?
Interims due in October.....they need to post something like 4 to 5 million for the half year....is it likely?

Cash is down to the 5 million mark!!!!

Do they have stats to how many downloads of their games are currently happenning>>> hmmmm

One question I do have....what percentage of handsets can use these games currently?

andrewbertram2003 - 01 Sep 2005 12:43 - 556 of 707

Well....have any of you gone to the 3 UK sites and checked out the ease with which to get to Superscape games....I just did and I am NOT impressed.

There are many games, often difficult to get to and where extactly are the SPS titles????.....They currently have about 12 titles don't they and I find them difficutl to find....If I do then how are they generating the 2 per game?

I really would like to know if SPS are on top of the resellers and have stats for their game downloads????

skids - 01 Sep 2005 12:52 - 557 of 707

surely users just download the games via WAP? Vodafone have a WAP games section, and buying the games from there is pretty easy.
I don't know if the SPS games are on there tho.

andrewbertram2003 - 01 Sep 2005 13:49 - 558 of 707

I correct myself on the cash position must remember they raised 20m in 2005

andrewbertram2003 - 01 Sep 2005 13:56 - 559 of 707

David Lee...who is he....he is on the Board of Superscape and Tadpole...hmmmm....common technology of software/content deployment...

SUPERSCAPE SIGNS CONTRACT WITH 17TH TARGETED NETWORK OPERATOR

Superscape Group plc, (LSE:SPS), the world's leading 3D mobile games publisher,
announces today the signing of the company's latest network operator
distribution agreement.

Kevin Roberts, CEO, Superscape Group plc, said: 'With this agreement, we have
now secured the distribution of our mobile games on seventeen of our twenty
targeted networks. This most recent agreement is with the leading supplier and
one of the most well-known brands in the region'.

Superscape's 2D and 3D games are now available on the majority of major networks
including Verizon, China Mobile, Vodafone, Cingular, Sprint, Vivo, Nextel, 02,
AT&T, Alltel, Rogers, Tmobile, Telefonica Smart tone, SKTelecom, Orange and 3.

About Superscape

Superscape is the world's leading publisher of 3D mobile games. The company was
the first in the world to develop and launch international standard (JSR 184)
compliant solutions for the delivery of innovative games on mass-market
handsets. Superscape is quoted on the London Stock Exchange and has corporate
offices in Hook, Hampshire (UK) and San Clemente, California (USA), together
with development and production facilities in Moscow.

andrewbertram2003 - 08 Sep 2005 12:14 - 561 of 707

Skids....they will get 20 out of 20....I have to say again that signing agreements is one think, having their games downloaded (paid for) is something else.
Do we understand how these mobile companies deal with game suppliers.
For instance Vodafone may have 20 such agreements and have no preference on how they present the games on their portals.
In this senerio its down to Superscape having the titles that the kids want!

I still have concerns on Superscapes games being "buried" in a resellers website.

andrewbertram2003 - 08 Sep 2005 12:21 - 562 of 707

aaaa....also...check out Superscape website...which games are actually available.
I checked out 6 of the top titles and they all state "not yet available in UK"

So where are they available?
When will Superscapes catalog be available and across which suppliers.

So what do we have today...a number of titles in development, 17 signed contracts and a timer!!!!

What we don't have is revenue streams.....so when...

Have I got this wrong?

Hotei - 15 Sep 2005 09:07 - 563 of 707

Andrew - hate to point you away from moneyam, but if you visit the Superscape thread on advfn you will find much more information and links to tables showing what games are on what devices on what networks, all put together by private investors rather than company. It is perhaps the one source of accurate information while the company continue to avoid publishing such information.

I think you have it wrong on revenue streams - download revenue is flowing, although mainly from the US network operators. Verizon in particular.

andrewbertram2003 - 15 Sep 2005 14:52 - 564 of 707

Thanks Hotei. Have looked at ADVFN.....was a bit ignorant of this site..but exploring it now!
