NML is due its interrim results now, last year it was the 28th of this month.
They are setting up a new site to explore/research/analyse and all the equipment to do this should be on site now, and drilling should start soon, all this extra news should be covered in the interims.
does anyone have any further positive views on this company ??

I wonder if stockdog is a husky. We could send him to Greenland to find out. By the way, sd, could you check out my post on PCM board if you haven't already done so - request of moneyplus and driver.

Stockdog,
Another 500,000 block transfer gone through, and the bid is reduced to 3.5p.
Interesting that yesterday, although the price was showing as being up, the bid remained at 3.75p, effectively there was no change to the value if an investor wanted to sell.

A bit odd they've lowered the bid considering the 500k sell was done a week ago.

mjr1234,
well it doesn't look as though they want anyone to sell IMO, so they drop the bid so they don't have to take on aly stock is the nromal process i think.
I agree, it is curious considering this was done last week.
I'm not sure what these block trades are, and why they are suddenly appearing to be honest.

Online trading now offering 3.54 - 3.75 bid - offer!
That is well below the offer of 4.25 showing on the monitor.

You dont honestly think do you that this is going to actually do something and make any money for anyone? On the contrary I doubt your resident seller would be dumping 45000 worth of stock ahead of a good trading update...do you..lol.!

As someone has pointed out on ADVFN, most of the junior mining sector is down today, many by a lot more than 3%. Money is flowing out of the sector at the moment, especially the riskier stocks. Once the company produces solid figures re: production from the Lapi mine, money will start to flow into this stock as the perceived risk will be markedly reduced.
All in all, this time is an excellent buying opportunity for courageous investors willing to hold for the medium-long term.
ps ASMITH2,
You need to up your Prozac dosage mate :).

Kimberlite - the less fattening diamond!
Kimberlapi - the hard to find diamond!
Kimberland - diamond studded boots!
I'm getting very bored with this stock, as you can tell.

mjr1234,
Well money is flowing out of most AIM resource stocks at the moment, NML will have to produce some marvellous news to really move the price IMHO.

Totally agree andy.. if these do what they say and start producing cash then i would invest money. I had a brief skim through the rns and it seems double dutch to me and wont even begin try to comprehend the jargon. Do you think that there is a mystery seller trying to get rid of lots of stock--
Also andy, am i right in thinking the brandenhorst bros have been selling--

legend,
Yes there is certainly a seller, or possibly sellers, that have been selling stock for a few months now, normally into strength, on the back of news, but now using the block trading facility, disposed of 1,500,000 in the last week or so.
I believe the Badenhorst brothers have sold 1 million shares, but they hold in nominee (as do some directors) so it is hard to be sure.

mjr1234,
Sorry, that's a 205,000 rollover (BUY) not two buys.
The transaction times are too close together to be anything else IMO.

I thought rollovers usually had identical timestamps?

mjr1234,
No they cannot do the two transactions at exactly the same time, they are always a few seconds apart.
19/05/05 09:46:53 4.0 205,000 O 3.5 4.25 Buy
19/05/05 09:46:35 3.95 205,000 O 3.5 4.25 Buy
What gives this away is the odd amount, and it's extremely unlikely two people would buy 205,000 within a few seconds of each other, particularly in a lightly traded stock.
In order to work out whether it's a buy or sell rollover, you check which transaction took place first, and in this example it was a sell, followed by a buy, so a BUY rollover IMO.

If you wanted to buy 410k online, but the online buy limit is 250k (which it was by the way, now 150k), you might put through 2 lots of 205k.

mjr1234,
interestingly, Comdirect are currently showing 3.5 - 4p spread, maximum 125,000 buy, which is positive, as max buy yesterday was 500,000!
