If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

MM - surely you mean DeltaStream? :-) Or is it called DelatStream on the special days when the data's all jumbled? ;-)
A serious question though - shouldn't someone further up the chain be doing something about this? It's just shocking that there are problems upstream of Reuters and one feels there is a fundamental failure of action somewhere between the LSE, the FSA and the Government, because surely it's in their interest if not their remit to ensure the orderly functioning of the market? It doesn't strike me as orderly when the likes of Reuters and ComStock are being fed false data for half the day two days running. (For the record, even though a lot of the large caps righted themselves during the afternoon, a lot of the small caps had wrong prices to the end).
Plus, and I guess this probably going to be a rhetorical question, what exactly is it with MoneyAM's Level 2 anyway? It seems to fall over a lot, and not just on the volatile days. I seem to be forever getting pop-ups from Etrade saying 'sorry, L2 down again' - although oddly not this week - I think they've given up. Are efforts being made to improve reliability, is it upstream and out of your hands, is this just the way things are always going to be? If it is, OK, I have ADVFN as a backup and they were fine today thankfully, but I'm curious as to whether these problems are solvable or not from MoneyAM's perspective.

Must add to the above,
I have a portfolio of 4 shares that have all gone up today according to my stockwatch, checked via this site and with another site. Yet my portfolio on moneyam shows down on the day.
I appreciate it is the problem with the supplier but there appears to be regular problems with this supplier.
I have considered Level 2 via moneyam but seeing the many times the system goes wrong puts me off.
I know the staff at moneyam do their best and respond to bugs very quickly (my other site of which I am level 2 could learn a lot from the way this site deals with it's customers, re quick responses), but any chance of a supplier change.
Not so much a moan as a request/inquiry.

If you do, MoneyAM, consider a change of supplier, please, please, please find one that gives the correct 'de facto' high/low values.
You know it's my biggest gripe of all - mainly because the values are almost always wrong every day for practically every stock.

We had two problems today, first off we found this morning that the overnight data dump from our supplier(Comstock) was incorrect and gave us the wrong closing prices from yesterday so the system ended up showing incorrect +/- movements. We rebuilt the data bases but this did not happen before open.
Secondly there was a partition issue on some discs which caused the level 2 failure lunchtime. Despite triple redundancy the sheer volume of transactions in the market meant that we could not rebuild order book quick enough on disc recovery.
Generally over the last few months up time has been very very high, so its very disappointing to have a double whammy just when our users need prices.

Ian and the gang:
This is a problem I've highlighted before.
BRW this morning has a news flag. The story relates to a US stock with the same epic code though. Surely there is a way this sort of thing could be sorted out - BRW should really be BRW.L as far as your suppliers are concerned then the story wouldn't get attached.

kernow,
It works fine here - if nothing happens for you when you clcik on it, it would suggest that a pop up blocker has become enabled on your machine. Either in your browser, any toolbar you have on your browser (like Google, Yahoo etc), or your firewall.

Checking the Investors Room thread at 2130 hrs Fri 2nd found no trace of SEO.
Checked several times and there appeared to be a gap of about 1 hour between the bottom entry on page 1 and the top entry on page 2.
I could only find SEO by the search facility.
My portfolio at close also still appears a wrong total. It appears to have added todays increase onto the Wednesdays close and not Thursdays close, giving a wrong total at close today.
Anyone else still having same problems.
