Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Looking really good!
Well done

OK here is an attempt to post an image of your UKX chart.
draw?period=1Y&action=&startDate=10%2F12

and as you can see no data.

Martini - 10 Dec 2002 15:36 - 57 of 7315

I have just set up my first monitor list.
First reaction viewing it on my lap top screen is that the font lacks impact and with my slight red green colour blinness I can't see the change in colour font from red to green without squinting at the figures.

Martini: 5% of the male population of the UK are red/green colour blind -- no wonder there's so many accidents at traffic lights and people hitting "buy" buttons when they meant "sell" or vice versa.

However, we need to look (squint?) at this. Thanks for the input.

The window for the BB on my task bar shows as the URL not what the page name is.
ie would expect to see MoneyAM - Bulletin Board

MM
:)
Put it this way I have no trouble with the ADVFN monitor screens.

M: Look, don't barge in 'ere trying to start a fight . . . we had enough of that nonsense over the road.

Intraday chart GKN seems to have a problem ...

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 10 Dec 2002 16:59 - 63 of 7315

Croc,

We are looking at this now.

Martini - 10 Dec 2002 19:23 - 64 of 7315

Every time I move around the site it seems slow as it appears to load up all the buttons every time.

Vertigo - 10 Dec 2002 19:57 - 65 of 7315

A couple of points:

1. This BB seems to be a very wide screen - as commented elsewhere above - requiring much scrolling to read.

2. In charts if I am viewing 1 year and select main for the grid I only get one vertical line for 2002 which is a little harsh for "main" I would have expected with 12 month view to have got each month on main.

3. On Martini's comment above - I have had the same feedback re red/green colour blindness on my StockHistory software and I provided the option to specify your own colours for up, down and flat. Would such a thing be possible on a web site?

Another one on charts: They seem to be a week behind the times. The details specify up to today (10/12/02) but they only display up to (s/12/02).

Martini - 10 Dec 2002 20:15 - 68 of 7315

See told you :)

Also unread messages seem to have one added some times

Bullshare - 10 Dec 2002 20:22 - 69 of 7315

draw?epic=INM&period=1Y&size=Medium

Bullshare - 10 Dec 2002 20:24 - 70 of 7315

Ah ha; Code is *img src="/action/chart/draw?epic=INM&period=1Y&size=Medium"*

relacing * with < or >

but something is wrong with some epics(ie UKX

Marathonmike - 10 Dec 2002 21:40 - 71 of 7315

Screens load and refresh very quickly on my machine. Must be one of the fastest websites I have come across - Great stuff.

Any chance of cash flow being included in the fundamental data? I find it very useful as a safe guard against unpleasant surprises when looking for medium term investment candidates.

Biker - 10 Dec 2002 22:01 - 72 of 7315

I'm not colourblind (I think) but I have to agree with Martini on the Monitor page. A bit more impact would be welcome.

Boyse - 10 Dec 2002 22:09 - 73 of 7315

could we adjust Text size a TAD on stockwatch lines viewing on 21" very small
or have I missed something ?

CC - 11 Dec 2002 10:04 - 74 of 7315

I use a screen resolution of 1152 x 864.
On the home page www.moneyam.com/beta the screen does not get filled right across the page and defaults to the left giving an unprofessional approach.
I think this is something to do with the way the HTML has been written .
Otherwise impressed so far
