Hi Everyone,

To complement the new html stockwatch, we've just released a new version of the Trades page which provides a non-Java version of streaming. In addition there is a tidier layout and some more information on the page than before. For people having problems with the new version, there is still the option to choose the Java Streaming version on that page.

Please provide feedback of bugs etc.

Your Volume weighted average price is suspect ,look at QPP this morning the vwap is 38p yet the stock has not touched 38 once ,why is that ??

Jimmy, this is an official VWAP figure provided directly by the data supplier. We can pass your query on if you think it is wrong. It's the same data that we have always provided on the level 2 page.

I hate to nit pick George it's just that i noticed that this morning as i looked at QPP trades

George what happened to the unknown trades total alongside the buys and sells ?

Jimmy, the feed documentation states the VWAP as the following:

Volume-weighted average price, as reported by LSE.
Includes these trade types:
Ordinary trade
Automatic trade
Uncrossing trade
Ordinary trade with Delayed publication
Negotiated trade
Negotiated trade with delayed publication
Closing price crossing trade

Unknown trades are now just summarised at the top to allow more space for a clearer view of the remaining data.

I'm not sure I like the chosen shades of Red and Blue in the 'Qty' and 'B/S' columns in the picture to the RHS.

They are not blatantly easy to identify and it takes me a short second to acclimatise my eyes to them. Or is it the background?

Yes, the colour shades are less bright than on the previous version. They are now in line with the colours used on the Shareprice page. As pages are updated we will try to use a standard scheme. Stockwatch colours will also go this way at some point.

Is it just me or does the price feed ALWAYS freeze when US payrolls are released.....?

As you're improving the trades page, is there any chance we could have the actual trade prices given, rather than rounding to decimal places? This applies to stockwatch too.

One thing - the red/blue meter does not update unless I click on the GO button.

Mo06: Yes, that's correct, the gauge doesn't update after the page is loaded.

I have been having the same infrequent problem re connecting then not connected,(on IE) but on refreshing it always connects quickly.

More for info, as very infrequent problem.

Greek, forget IE, go to crome or firefox cope's with everything.,.

Greek, Baler is right about Firefox speed. You could
downlaod Firefox and keep IE as well. I have them both now
but still use IE for most sites, as some things are superior imo
e.g. having the favouries dropdown with the bar at the
top of the favourites column for immediate access to sites
one uses often. Firefox does not seem to match that with
its bookmarks, or if it does I have not found it anywhere.
I find its alphabetical list is a nuisance.
But for accessing the MAM stockwatch page it is superb.

Still having problems with trades, see post 69 and the problem is now more frequent, I use IE.

I have seen the suggestions re Firefox but I have an old laptop that has very little space left so want to resist loading Firefox as my machine already struggles a bit.

Suggestions re trades on IE or will I have to load Firefox.

Edit..........Just tried again and trades came up immediately after lots of probs earlier, strange or what.

free up some space by getting rid of the porn pics greek........ just a suggestion ;)
