Zareba To Acquire Uranium Asset Within A Month - Sources
By Sarah Thompson

Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES

LONDON (Dow Jones)--Zareba, due to make its debut on London's Alternative Investment Market Monday, will make a significant acquisition within a month, people familiar with the deal told Dow Jones Newswires.

The U.K. mining shell is to announce the purchase of a "huge" uranium asset in Australia, the sources said.

Zareba has been established for the purpose of making investments in the mining and minerals sectors. It is being floated Monday at one penny.

Executive Chairman Brian Moritz is a director of Southern African Resources (SFU.LN), the shares of which have gone from three pence to 35 pence within 18 months.

Zareba's directors are also involved in Zari Resources PLC (ZAR.LN), which floated at 1 penny in July 2004 and closed today (Friday) at 4.13 pence.

A spokesman for Zareba said: "There are some assets we are looking at, and a uranium asset in Australia is one of them. It hasn't been dismissed out of course."

Well thats me on board. Got in yesterday and just topped up. There doesn't seem to be much on the web on ZBA. Does anyone know of any sites that may have info on them?
It seems the an announcement is now overdue on a possible acquisition so now is a good time to jump in as I can't see them being this price for long.(Unless there is no good news).
Is RTM in the same business as ZBA?

FROM THE iii SITE:-

Hi gang - we can all calm down and relax.

Just got off the phone to John Woolgarand he was VERY upbeat about the company, its prospects and deals that it is in the process of pulling off. He started off by building up his fellow directors and the knowledge they possess.

He said there is a "significant flow of deals" that are landing on their laps at present, which are all being evaluated.

When asked if the company is in a position to release some news to shareholders, he replied "very, very soon".

My personal take on his tone and comments is very positive. He actually apologised when I told him it had been very difficult to get hold of him, and then added that "a lot of hard work has been done to achieve the best investment possibilities".

Obviously, he couldn't give an exact date of any news to be released, but on three occasions coined the phrase "sooner rather than later".

Top up now I say, I'll be doubling my holding at some point this afternoon.

sounds like a ramp to me!

ateeq180 - 26 Apr 2005 21:34 - 62 of 140

You never know it could turn out to be a reality, if there is positive news, strange things do happen.but looking at the trades there has been few big trades as well, lets hope later part of the week is all good news for some nervy investors such as me.

julian1976 - 27 Apr 2005 14:37 - 63 of 140

up 22% today. i have spoke to the guy who made the post. he has made quite a few more since. go to the iii board and take a look.

AdieH - 27 Apr 2005 16:15 - 64 of 140

I can confirm that "balcee" has posted on iii he seems to know what he's talking about i.e previous companies he has mentioned, as ever though DYOR.

ateeq180 - 27 Apr 2005 16:18 - 65 of 140

do you mean previous companies have done well when he has mentioned some thing positive.

AdieH - 27 Apr 2005 19:00 - 66 of 140

yes i do ateeq180, have followed a few of his postings on iii and he seems to know what he is talking about but as ever DYOR.

I am not ramping I don't hold these yet have to do my own research but looking at the charts I would say the 2p is realistic target soon, if any deals are done then it could move quickly, as I say I dont hold but may get in soon.

ateeq180 - 27 Apr 2005 20:35 - 67 of 140

Two 500.000 trades at the end also 4 million buys against 1 million sells,it is looking good to me,still in hope to cover my losses as i purchased these at 2.75p,so a long way to go, might top up to average down pending good positive statement, still living in hope in this bear market, dows up so hoping for good start to the day, also waiting in the wings dont forget mmg and vml as well.good luck all and please as always doyr.

ateeq180 - 28 Apr 2005 11:58 - 68 of 140

ateeq180 - 29 Apr 2005 16:50 - 70 of 140

A lot been said on iii board about this company, also another article in the express today about a deal in south africa very soon, can some one please give a bit more info on this as the buying has been quite reasonable as well.

julian1976 - 30 Apr 2005 23:03 - 71 of 140

i bought in at 2.7 so still sitting on a considerable lose however lots of positive news on bb's re these however no rns. i have no choice but to wait though i am confident that they will come good. there seems to be more than one deal in the pipeline?

ateeq180 - 30 Apr 2005 23:08 - 72 of 140

You said in your earlier post that you have spoken to some one,and the person you spoke to was very confident,so i am sure you will cover your losses sooner than later.i bought these at roughly the same price as well.by the way twise been mentioned in the express,i hope its not a ramp.

julian1976 - 01 May 2005 16:38 - 73 of 140

the express have got it wrong in the past but with what was being said on the iii board after people there had contacted the company it would seem to tie in. i think we have an interesting week ahead with the possibility of news at any time.

julian1976 - 03 May 2005 15:46 - 74 of 140

nothing happening with this one today. we need some news to see any action now.
