THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Anybody on here watch Tip TV , very interesting today

hilary - 14 Jan 2015 18:55 - 55028 of 81564

It just gets better, and better, and better.

Haystack - 14 Jan 2015 19:18 - 55029 of 81564

Excellent!

MaxK - 14 Jan 2015 19:27 - 55030 of 81564

In a Twitter message, Mr Farage told his rival: "The more, the merrier! @almurray".

And a spokesman for UKIP added: "At last, serious competition in the constituency."

Haystack - 14 Jan 2015 19:44 - 55031 of 81564

Garage must be pissed off. The very least it will split the UKIP vote.

MaxK - 14 Jan 2015 19:46 - 55032 of 81564

He might well be at that, btw, by what date you have to register as a candidate?

Haystack - 14 Jan 2015 19:51 - 55033 of 81564

Not sure.

Haystack - 14 Jan 2015 20:01 - 55034 of 81564

1.1 To become nominated as a candidate at a UK Parliamentary general election in Great Britain, you need to submit a completed set of nomination papers to the place fixed by the (Acting) Returning Officerby 4pm on the 19th working day before the poll (by 4pm on 9 April 2015).

MaxK - 14 Jan 2015 20:08 - 55035 of 81564

Thanks Haystack.

So, there is plenty of time for someone to register as the "New Conservative" candidate.

Muddy the water a little more.

Stan - 14 Jan 2015 20:13 - 55036 of 81564

Not another "Con" Party?... How many more before May? -):

MaxK - 14 Jan 2015 20:14 - 55037 of 81564

Could be lots Stan :-)

cynic - 14 Jan 2015 20:18 - 55038 of 81564

if you guys spent half as much time on studying the markets, you might make some decent money instead of wasting breath

Stan - 14 Jan 2015 20:20 - 55039 of 81564

Pot and kettle alert.

Fred1new - 14 Jan 2015 20:41 - 55040 of 81564

GF,

Cameron a lump of lard.

He would slip off a normal chair or melt if he debated with Salmond.

But he ducked Wee Alex last time and he is ducking again, mind what would you expect from this lot of tories.

Fred1new - 14 Jan 2015 20:47 - 55041 of 81564

The tory party is already two parties.

The neo-cons on the right fiddling away and the Wets ducking somewhere else.

ExecLine - 14 Jan 2015 23:41 - 55043 of 81564

1p per pint? That is a serious pledge.

And 1p for a glass of wine for the ladies?

This guy is going to get hundreds of votes! About 3 hundred, I reckon.

ExecLine - 14 Jan 2015 23:45 - 55044 of 81564

Oh shit!

This is happening just down the road from my house. In fact, they might well take me there if I look like I'm about to flake out.

I reckon this will also save the students tons in parking charges. They are charged £10 per day to park their cars in the hospital car park but they work there for nothing. This will put a stop to that for sure.

MaxK - 14 Jan 2015 23:59 - 55045 of 81564

You live near Northamptonstan EL ... commiserations.
