On reflection it properly is a good idea to put the whole thing up because I would have missed it as well.

going back to the original aquisition rns it say,

"Of the total consideration, US$1.23 million has already been paid in cash to EKI
as a non-refundable deposit. A further US$11.27 million is due to be paid on
completion of the acquisition which will be satisfied in cash. A further
US$6.25 million in cash is due to be paid in 12 months and a final payment of
US$6.25 million in cash is due 12 months thereafter. The deferred elements are
not subject to performance criteria. Stanelco is currently considering a number
of options for funding the acquisition, which may include the entering into
arrangements for debt facilities and/or a placing of ordinary shares for cash."

Did ASDA stop their suppliers ordering Greenseal, because Starpol 2000 was imminent ????

Will there be a flood of orders for Greenseal plus Starpol 2000 from ASDA suppliers, once Biotec is part of Stanelco PLC ????

IMVHO the answer to both questions is yes.

Cheers,

PM

Are we being held back by large 'T' buys ????

Could be the reason for strange prices, and no tick up yet. Lets hope they clear soon !

Stanelco raises 9m to fund Biotech deal
Wed 08 Jun 2005

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Stanelco has raised 9.3m through a placing to help fund the acquisition of Biotech Holdings it announced on Monday.

KBC Peel Hunt placed 44m shares at 21.15p per share, amounting to 9m net after expenses. Ian Balchin, chief executive said, " It is great that we have had such strong institutional support for this acquisition and the company's strategy."

Stanelco is paying EKI $25m for Biotech, payable over the next two years. Biotech is one of the world's leading exponents of starch technology and has a considerable intellectual property portfolio.

Separately, the company announced that Howard White is to become group managing director

I would just like to clear up a point made the other day (not by me) that Earthshell supplied McDonalds this was a mistake and totally unintentional and not made to misinform this B/Board.

The information appears to be wrong, as McDonalds have never been a paying customer of Earthshell. They were involved in trialling Earthshells products, but the process never went into production as per their SEC filings of their Annual reports for 2002 and 2003.
The trialing finished in 2002, and any products used by McDonalds were for research, and not actually sold to McDonalds, as can be proven in Earthshells financials where no revenues have been earned.

so seo have raised $16.5m from the placing of which $12.5m is pretty much already spent. that leaves $4m for working capitol. is that enough to get things going in usa and cover everything else?

driver - 08 Jun 2005 12:55 - 5547 of 27111

bos
Don't they still have money from there last placing 4m, minus the deposit?

Driver Hi,

Yes the Earthshell trials were done through an Earthshell partner, but it seems they didn't take off.

IMVHO it is because the USA frowned upon a company connected to Khashoggi, an international fugative, and an arms dealer connected to Iran and the Marcos family, the last thing they would do after 9/11 is a deal with a company involved with him.

I think Stanelco will make better inroads in USA with the I.P from Biotec, starting with Greenseal plus Starpol 2000 as a complete 'Green packaging solution', which will IMVHO be rolled out to Wal-Mart, as soon as the third trial is complete in about 4-6 weeks.

Cheers,
PM

Great institutional support - yeah right - I see the RNS about holdings by institutions or in fact none of them - which ones are supporting - oh - do you mean KBC Peel and Age of Reason said well done we support you - thats great support is it not ;-) LOL

Dilution - rush of RNSs - is it that interims are coming soon ?

I see a determined rush by certain people wishing to pump the price up that they are trying to link everything in now - this means everything is going to happen now - and its all going to happen in 4 to 6 weeks - get real - they know they have 4 to 6 weeks before interims are reported and they want the price up so they can exit fast before then IMO - watch, wait and see.

You have to laugh - I find it so funny.
