Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Pity Ian because it lead to a spike and buying interest however its designated-maybe its time for a review? Many holders on here would have been in the dark as to the cause of the rise.

Guys,

Please accept my apologies our suppliers had an issue, which they have now resolved - there may be rogue orders as a consequnce of this, which we are working to remove.

For the last couple of days I keep getting taken back to the login screen - I'm on AOL.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 Mar 2007 10:08 - 5545 of 7315

skinny,

It sounds like either your browser or your firewall is blocking the session cookie. You will need to make sure you have session cookies enabled for this to work.

Ian

skinny - 14 Mar 2007 10:22 - 5546 of 7315

Ian - my privacy level is medium - which it has always been?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 Mar 2007 10:27 - 5547 of 7315

skinny,

Go to tool, internet options, click on privacy and then on advanced. Put a tick next to override auto cookie handling and a tick next to always allow session cookies. Now click on ok and then restart. If this does not work, or the settings are already there, it would probably mean that your firewall is the culprit. You would need to change the similar settings within there by looking at the products help pages.

Ian call me stupid but I can't see either of those options in privacy/advanced ! IE 7

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 Mar 2007 10:39 - 5549 of 7315

skinny,

Once you have clicked on privacy, you need to click on where it says advanced about half way down that box, it is the 3rd of 4 button if you are using IE 7. Don't click on advanced at the top.

Ian

skinny - 14 Mar 2007 10:41 - 5550 of 7315

Ian - yes sorry I was clicking on the advanced tab at the top!! Now done!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 Mar 2007 10:46 - 5551 of 7315

Guys,

Just so you know we have nioticed a few login problems this morning (multiple requests to login and a slower login than usual), so we are going to clear everbodies login session. The only thing you will notice is that you will be requested to log back in again when you navigate to your next page on the site, once you log back in you should be up and running for the rest of the day.

Apologies it is a known issue with them displaying at open - which James is looking into. They should be fine now.

Photomad - 15 Mar 2007 08:22 - 5554 of 7315
