Tadpole Evolves (TAD)

ainsoph - 23 May 2003 13:32

A new thread that may swim in hibernation for a few days or weeks as the process of evolution takes place ......

Imagine a slimmed down debt free company with one division stacked with orders and self financing with cash in the bank.

Then imagine a partner for the other division with pockets so deep that they could fund a rocket to the moon ..... and back

Dreaming of course but Tads can do that to you ..... what a gem or is that a bygone dream as well .....

Super,

what is wrong with this bb? this thread is virtually at the top of the list and has been there for hours which means no one is using am. A bit of a clue there for the company I suppose? Any thoughts on why it's so dead?

superrod - 21 Jul 2003 22:00 - 555 of 729

mac
imo the rabble from advfn have come over here and managed to get just about everyone banned. guite honestly i havent seen anything here yet that would warrant a ban but most pro tadders are out.

MightyMicro - 22 Jul 2003 04:14 - 556 of 729

macCavity:

It's a bit of a sweeping generalisation to say that nobody's using AM because the TAD thread is near the top of the Investors' board at 8.50pm -- the "free" bb always goes quiet outside working hours. Other free BBs attract and tolerate more people who don't seem to have too much of life away from the board. Check out the quality, not the quantity.

Also, most traders seem to spend their time on AM Traders' thread in the Traders' Room. Hundreds of posts every day. Join!

A general observation is that the market is stultifyingly boring right now -- and it's July.

its quiet because there is no news. Look at the last god knows how many posts - seems to me that "they " are now arguing over something on advfn?

They are ALL a joke, simple as that.

I like the quote above "the rabble from advfn have come over here and managed to get just about everyone banned"

I would suggest that THEY got themselves banned for being cretins, but there you go LOL!!!

LOL

Moneylender - 30 Jul 2003 20:35 - 571 of 729

Was THAT really your buy?

I think not!

macCavity - 31 Jul 2003 00:54 - 572 of 729

Oldolie is a bull*****er, he's admitted it on advfn because he knew I would not let him off the hook. Moneylender he has now really caught himself up in bull***t because the 66666 trade was mine....bought and sold today 8.97 and 9.9. He saw it on L2 and tried to claim it as his own, but oh well thats what you expect from a bull****ter! True to form.

Oldolie you bulls****er! why not offer to fax your imaginary certificate to your imaginary solicitors, Pratt, Bigger Prat & Wonderland....you know the firm...the one that according to colowe you defaults on and they in turn give you credit to wisely invest where no man has invested before. In your dreams!

Wot a BULL****ER!

EDIT - Please do not use abusive language

Beau62 - 31 Jul 2003 07:40 - 573 of 729

I was unaware that MoneyAm allowed such personal insults on here, so I guess nothing has changed and pretty much sums up why the clicks are so nominal on the free BB's over here. Seems that the moderators like it this way.

Looking at the ADVFN trade list for yesterday, I notice that the 66666 trade was trade number 35 and was timed at 9:32. Olie posted on the bb at 9:31 (and taking into account one-finger typing time) informed us of the trade before it went through. In my experience, the moment the trade goes through when I buy through my broker, it flashes up on my monitor instantaneously. Therefore, how it could not be Olie's trade is difficult to imagine. But there you go. Little things please little minds I guess. Of course I could be wrong, but the facts dont lie.

Good day for Tad yesterday, and it is a shame that this board cannot attract friendly debate. Nevermind.

Won't be popping back for a while I guess.

Beau
