to be honest tanks, the israeli (gov't) have acted reprehensibly too in all sorts of ways ..... if israel (gov't) really wants peace, then in the first instance, there is no question that they should have stopped their ongoing encroachment of west bank territory

Everyone knows that there are Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon still full of Palestinians that were forced out of what is currently called Israel. Far less people realise that there are 21 refugee camps in the West Bank full of the same people. The Israelis build illegal settlements and the Israeli army supports them. The settlers are allowed to be armed and have automatic weapons. The Palestinians live in refugee camps and cannot build any houses. If they do they are bulldozed as they cannot get official permission to build in their own land. The ones that farm have their fields torched by settlers and the army turns a blind eye.

The Arab League will apply to upgrade the Palestinians to full member status at the United Nations, according to a draft statement from a league meeting in Qatar on Thursday.

Hamas are not terrorists. Israel saying they are terrorists does not make them so. They are jusr resisting an occupation as the French did during the last war. In both cases it is the result of Nazi style oppression. The Palestinians have to suffer ethnic cleansing as well.

Israel is an apartheid state that uses terrorism against the Palestinians. They are more terrorist than Hamas. Actually only a few countries call Hamas terrorists. There are probably more that call Israel terrorists.
