Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Arab League to request full Palestinian membership at UN

The Arab League will apply to upgrade the Palestinians to full member status at the United Nations, according to a draft statement from a league meeting in Qatar on Thursday.

"It was decided to go to the United Nations to request the recognition of the state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital and to move ahead and request a full membership," said the communiqu a copy of which was obtained by Reuters.

Over 130 of the 192 member states of the United Nations are expected to support the establishment of a Palestinian state if it is brought up for a vote by the General Assembly this coming September.

Tinker,

I think Israel was built on the back of terrorism.

Some of the its present administration had terrorist links.

Would you suggests chucking them out of the UN?

Also Mossad is is/was a terrorist organisation and responsible for murders and terrorist activities outside the "State of Israel".

TANKER - 15 Jul 2011 11:45 - 5567 of 6906

the people of gaza voted for terrorists to run gaza .

Haystack - 15 Jul 2011 11:54 - 5568 of 6906

Hamas are not terrorists. Israel saying they are terrorists does not make them so. They are jusr resisting an occupation as the French did during the last war. In both cases it is the result of Nazi style oppression. The Palestinians have to suffer ethnic cleansing as well.

TANKER - 15 Jul 2011 12:17 - 5569 of 6906

hay. are you thick . hamas is known to all countrys has terrorists , FACT .
and most of them are cold blooded murderers

Haystack - 15 Jul 2011 12:21 - 5570 of 6906

Israel is an apartheid state that uses terrorism against the Palestinians. They are more terrorist than Hamas. Actually only a few countries call Hamas terrorists. There are probably more that call Israel terrorists.

TANKER - 15 Jul 2011 12:22 - 5571 of 6906

if you live by the sword beprepared to die by it .
no sane person once war only the insane . HAMAS

Haystack - 15 Jul 2011 12:27 - 5572 of 6906

It is not just Hamas that are opposed to Israel. A survery published today in the Israeli Jeruusalem Post shows that most Palesinians are opposed to Israel in a very fundamental way.

http://www.jpost.com/DiplomacyAndPolitics/Article.aspx?id=229493

73% of 1,010 Palestinians in W. Bank, Gaza agree with 'hadith' quoted in Hamas Charter about the need to kill Jews hiding behind stones, trees.

Only one in three Palestinians (34 percent) accepts two states for two peoples as the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to an intensive, face-to-face survey in Arabic of 1,010 Palestinian adults in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip completed this week by American pollster Stanley Greenberg.

Respondents were asked about US President Barack Obamas statement that there should be two states: Palestine as the homeland for the Palestinian people and Israel as the homeland for the Jewish people.

Just 34% said they accepted that concept, while 61% rejected it.

Sixty-six percent said the Palestinians real goal should be to start with a two-state solution but then move to it all being one Palestinian state.

Asked about the fate of Jerusalem, 92% said it should be the capital of Palestine, 1% said the capital of Israel, 3% the capital of both, and 4% a neutral international city.

Seventy-two percent backed denying the thousands of years of Jewish history in Jerusalem, 62% supported kidnapping IDF soldiers and holding them hostage, and 53% were in favor or teaching songs about hating Jews in Palestinian schools.

When given a quote from the Hamas Charter about the need for battalions from the Arab and Islamic world to defeat the Jews, 80% agreed. Seventy-three percent agreed with a quote from the charter (and a hadith, or tradition ascribed to the prophet Muhammad) about the need to kill Jews hiding behind stones and trees.

"meaning humiliation ruin and collapse as a result of self-infliction damage."

This is a good description of how Israel is behaving. It is showing sign of imploding as it passes undemocratic laws.

TANKER - 15 Jul 2011 12:34 - 5575 of 6906

HAY . GO AND READ
the history of hamas how they murdered the people of palestine
fatah there own people you are a stupid iliterate person .
go and read the facts of HAMAS .

Haystack - 15 Jul 2011 13:46 - 5576 of 6906

Hamas were voted in by the people of Gaza in a model of democratic elections. International observers gave the elections high praise for the way it was conducted. You may not like it, but it is the legitimate government of Gaza. The volence in Gaza after the elections was because Fatah would not accept the election result. The real proble amongst the Palestinians is Fatah and the corruption inside it. US aid to the West Bank has made rich men of the leaders of Fatah.

TANKER - 15 Jul 2011 14:35 - 5577 of 6906

exactly they kill each other then blame israel.
they are terrorists read the history of HAMAS it tells you all.
end off. pointless to respond to a dimwit

Haystack - 15 Jul 2011 14:40 - 5578 of 6906

The inter party rivalry between Fatah and Hamas was just down to Fatah. Don't forget the killing of Palestinians by Israel. Those numbers dwarf any internal killings in Palestine and run into thousands.

TANKER - 15 Jul 2011 14:42 - 5579 of 6906
