Sun shines on some and rain falls on others. Been sunny here in Yorks we in the north must be favoured. Dont always have a lot going for us up here!!

amberjane - 01 May 2004 17:16 - 5567 of 23498

Yeah right, you may have the sun but I hear its a degree or two colder.... We dont have rain either down in Surrey but its bloody cloudy. Not a day to garden, although did try & cut grass & have waterlogged the mower!

little willie - 01 May 2004 17:32 - 5568 of 23498

Hi All, had a bootiful day here in SA, MRS.LW ran her first ever half marathon today,21k's in 2 hrs15 mins exact, I'm very proud of her.
I stayed at home and made a lamb casserole [about 2 gallons of it].
She'd never run in her life before our move out here, pretty good huh? [I think she'll do some more running with all that casserole.......].

Jeffers..I read earlier mail in which you said LW had been insulting, was that aimed at moi? If so, why and what?

Snoball.. Sussex, whereabouts in my old beloved County?
Hope its the nice part WEST!!!

Amberjane, hello, good evening & welcome..Surrey, commuter belt, wealthy togs?
Anywhere near Haslemere?

I like to get a picture where all the names belong..

Thank Gawd no sign of Hils, her Chelsea have just stuffed my Saints 4-0 and we got off lightly.

Out to a 50th party tonight, on orders to behave and noit to drink too much;
I should enjoy it!!

jeffmack - 01 May 2004 18:26 - 5569 of 23498

Evening LW
Dont worry mate, I meant the other LW (little woman) who was having a ding dong with another poster on the traders thread that turned out to be a wind up.

Enjoy the party

snoball - 01 May 2004 18:31 - 5570 of 23498

little willie - right on the East/West border.
Between Brighton & Hove Actually and Shoreham-by-Sea.
A rather nondescript area known only to the cognoscenti.

The sun is out now and we are going to have a nice sunset I expect.
I am back in my redecorated room testing if my computer works after moving it.

dotel - 01 May 2004 18:41 - 5571 of 23498

amberj - in the heart of Northwest boddiescountry- and it has been trooooly hot again (wasn't last weekend a corker?)

PS jm - spot on!

amberjane - 01 May 2004 19:04 - 5572 of 23498

Hi LWillie,

What a lovely welcome, Hallo to you to, but I dont think you can have the same initials, LW, as there'll always be confusion!

Surrey, no not expensive Haslemere, a little place called Caterham, but the SOME residents think its elsewhere. I know what you mean liking to know who/where everyone is but I cant be bothered (sorry) to read 5569 messages to find out, shame they dont have a profile bit?!?

dotel - yes gorgeous week-end, cant wait for those lazy days laying in the sun on the river bank and being in love, oh for the summer to hurry up (and the other thingy).

dotel - 01 May 2004 19:11 - 5573 of 23498

oh amberj - now you've opened up the floodgates..

amberjane - 01 May 2004 19:14 - 5574 of 23498

Have I? Do you know what it is and where to find it?

optomistic - 01 May 2004 19:17 - 5575 of 23498

little willie congrats to your wife on her acheivment, she covered that distance nearly as quick as I can in my car. Dont you fancy having a run yourself?
opto

Socrates - 01 May 2004 19:31 - 5576 of 23498

Who doesn't have profile bits?

optomistic - 01 May 2004 19:38 - 5577 of 23498

Socs read yor profile, do you still fly? I'm at the wrong side of 60, took up gliding 4 years ago definately keeps your brain active, not suggesting you dont have an active mind of course! :-)

amberjane - 01 May 2004 19:40 - 5578 of 23498

Thank you, I now know one of you! But most are empty, not even a gender, I guess that COULD add to the fun but on the other hand....

jj50 - 01 May 2004 20:33 - 5579 of 23498

Evening all. Been out in the sunshine all day, makes watching cricket even bearable!

Love the graphics Jeffmack! Now I understand scotia, snoball - I am sure it looks great - reward yourself with an extra large drink this evening. Don't despair with the damp Socrates, I used to live in Cirencester and it may be brighter here, but it is a lot warmer in Cheltenham! Is it Badminton this week-end - I seemed to remember it was always either snow or a scorcher?! Congrats. to Mrs LW - I'm really impressed and what with opto gliding, I think I had better jump on the keep fit wagon- or maybe I'll just pour myself a large drink!

snoball - 01 May 2004 20:34 - 5580 of 23498

I've just updated my profile, amberjane. Can't say yours is overflowing with detail either. :-)

Off to yot club to prop up bar.

amberjane - 01 May 2004 21:40 - 5581 of 23498

I know, I was all proper when I started then I deleted it all, I'll follow your example and hope others do to. Thanks

Socrates - 01 May 2004 23:46 - 5582 of 23498

Opto
I never did fly, flying is for the birds. Currently I am in civil aviation, mostly helicopters. It has it's ups and downs.

amberjane
I understand that you are into DIY. I'm looking for help in building a garage for my Lamborghini which will double as a chocolate store, darkroom, photographic studio and store for my collection of handcuffs and leather straps. Are you interested?

amberjane - 02 May 2004 00:01 - 5583 of 23498

Oh my God, I've nearly split my sides laughing, I know I've had a drink but....better change the profile then. Just taking a break from 100 Greatest Sexy Moments C4, anyone else watching, what memories...(of the films of course)
Not many handcuffs and leather straps though.

ps. When can I help build the garage? I'm still laughing, brilliant.
pps. Is the profile OK now. Will a train fit in this garage?

Socrates - 02 May 2004 11:11 - 5584 of 23498

Amberjane
I'll move to a converted railway station, what colour spots do you like your trains?

amberjane - 02 May 2004 11:41 - 5585 of 23498

Actually I thought the trainspotting was going a bit far but OK, as u ask, blue with leather seating if poss. Should be masses of room here for the other bits, better add to your collection?

Sorry if I left the T Rooms in a bit of a mess last night I was having such a giggle, must have tripped over the mat as I left as I'm covered in strange bruises this morning. Will tidy up in a mo.
