yes i did , driver. cheers. wilbs, i'm waiting for the end of the match , hoping they are going to be swapping shirts!!!!!!

jimmy b - 08 Jun 2005 18:33 - 5588 of 27111

Yes it was a day traders dream,,except all my funds are tied up as usual, always at the wrong time, now where's Eric with his crystal ball.

wilbs - 08 Jun 2005 18:34 - 5589 of 27111

I hope there is a webcam in the showers!! Onto google now....

jimmy b - 08 Jun 2005 18:34 - 5590 of 27111

Thats a good point bosley, i dont like football but ill watch just in case.

EWRobson - 08 Jun 2005 23:26 - 5592 of 27111

What's all this then: all off to the football and not reutning to cheer yourselves with a dose of SEO. Not sure whether wilbs is buying google or has topped up his 1million shares @ 132 or just ogling the boobs in the showers.

Jimmy is wanting a crystal ball which would realy hurt if you kicked it. What you can say is that was a really strong trading performance late in the day with good volume. To what extent was this covering short positions and what was new investing? Probably a mix. seq. is not a bad guy recently and I'm glad he closed his short earlier in the day, much better with a long. I reckon the surge will carry on in the morning, but whether it will then retrace on profit-taking or not is hard to read. Expect the market is impressed with the speed of raising the funds from institutions. The other conclusion is that the only one whom II is deceiving is himself. Any sensible shorter would have been looking to short perhaps down to the support level, previously at 20p; now of course raised to 21.15p. Interested seq. whether you saw the buying volume building up in Level 2 as you timed your switch well?

Bad news, I'm afraid, bos. You are down to second place in the ASOS Challenge Portfolio - MDW up and AGL down. Still, if you have a good CFD position open in SEO, I expect you won't lose any sleep over it.

Hello - Night Shift here! Just looking after SEO until Mister early-bird is up again!

SEO really do seem to be grooming themselves for greatness! I am happy to hold onto their skirts! Though I prob won't watch them in the showers!!

Seo much for that!

From FYB ....

I like this, from Sensecheck on iii

I posted this sometime in May. The facts remain the same, and my view is no different other than I hold more shares now following my purchase today. One BB member did ask that I publish this every day.

From the Wal-mart internet site we know that they have the following stores in these countries.

As of April 30, 2005, the Company had 1,320 Wal-Mart stores, 1,761 Supercenters, 552 SAMS CLUBS and 86 Neighborhood Markets in the United States. Internationally, the Company operated units in Argentina (11), Brazil (151), Canada (261), China (45), Germany (89), South Korea (16), Mexico (700), Puerto Rico (54) and the United Kingdom (286).

The total number of stored outside the UK is 4947 compared with 286 in the UK this is a ratio of 17:1. The Asda deal was worth an initial 5m to SEO if we do a simple calculation and multiply by 17 we should get an approximation of the size of a Walmart deal. Ie 17 x 5m = 85m and that just for starters.

Lets now think about the other supermarkets in the UK there are 4 main supermarket that compete so if they each account for 5m of income for SEO extrapolate this for the US and its neighbours that 340m. Then there is the world.

Remember SEO has no competition, they have a unique product and there product is good for the environment with lower energy cost, it is bio-degradable and it increases sales of products and allows for a longer shelf life etc. This is a dream come true.

The Asda web site has this statement

Minimising packaging on own brand product:
- Ensuring that packaging volume and weight are limited to the minimum adequate to maintain the necessary level of safety, hygiene and quality for the packed product as well as the aesthetic acceptance of the customer
- A key consideration during the packaging design process is to minimise its impact on the environment when packaging is disposed of as waste

We are onto a win in my honest opinion. I shall not be selling for a long time and certainly not before the SP based on my figures reaches circa 1.40.

Remember all DYOR

insiderinside - 09 Jun 2005 09:28 - 5600 of 27111

I look forward to the day when the UK introduces policies like the US where potentially misunderstood forward looking statements must have a clear disclaimer with them.

Forward-Looking Statements

Statements in this press release regarding management's future expectations, beliefs, goals, plans or prospects, including statements relating to the Company's research, technology, future products and the market for them, its trials and its future product development and introduction efforts, may constitute forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Actual results could differ materially from those stated or implied in forward-looking statements due to a number of factors. Forward-looking statements include statements regarding expectations, beliefs, intentions or strategies regarding the future and can be identified by forward-looking words such as "anticipate", "believe", "could", "estimate", "expect", "intend", "may", "should", "will", and "would" or similar words.

Know any company that loves to write those words all over the press releases ? -

What date can those 44M new shares be dumped on the market is it 13th June ?

Strange the owners of Biotec did not want to be paid in shares and wanted only cash ? do they see no potential of future long term rises in the SP ? would have thought if things are so good they would have loved to have SE0 shares as payment ?? ;-)

Sequestor - 09 Jun 2005 09:44 - 5602 of 27111

bosley - 09 Jun 2005 10:21 - 5603 of 27111

sequestor, i thought the 44 million shares don't come into play until the 13th june? can they be shifted beforehand?

bhunt1910 - 09 Jun 2005 10:32 - 5604 of 27111

No - I dont think so - can't be traded ubtil Monday - but maybe that was what was holding the price back.

Fred1new - 09 Jun 2005 10:36 - 5605 of 27111

I think they can be shifted on the "Grey market". (Ie. between loving couples.)
