You seriously missed out on a bargain. Think we paid Villa £250k and the guy has been outstanding and will never be forgotten.

He ever returns to play against Cardiff he'll get a standing ovation. Never realised he'd ever been with your lot.

Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave Real Madrid this summer, according to a report in Portugal.

The former Manchester United forward is ‘outraged’ after being accused of evading €14.7 million (£13m) in tax by Spanish prosecutors.

Ronaldo’s decision to leave the Spanish champions is ‘irreversible’ and the player has already informed Madrid president Florentino Perez of his desire to quit.

Yes Dil he was at Burnley just before you signed him I think.

As I said he really was no good to us and was fairly quickly sent back to Villa.

England have midfield creativity and defensive problems....there will ony be a three and a half year gap between the next two world cups as Qatar will be played in January possibly....

No offshore tax avoiders/evaders required at the Fortress thank you very much...but I expect the usual suspects will be interested.

Stan - 20 Jun 2017 12:34 - 5605 of 6918

...assuredly as some on here would say 🤣

ExecLine - 20 Jun 2017 13:25 - 5606 of 6918

Cristiano Ronaldo was accused of a €14.7m tax fraud.

Mourinho, like Ronaldo, is also a client of super agent Jorge Mendes and is yet to comment on the allegations of a €3.3m tax fraud. The Portuguese manager has been accused on two counts of fraud during his time at Real Madrid in 2011/12.

Lionel Messi, voted the best player in the history of football

# Barça star Messi is considered the best player to ever have played the game
# In Voetbal International's rankings he is ahead of Maradona and Johan Cruyff

The oldest football magazine in Holland highlights Messi's 30 titles with Barça and the numerous individual awards he has won, all while still being 29. Cristiano Ronaldo, his great rival at Real Madrid, is not in the top five.

Here is the ranking of the top five:

1. Lionel Messi (Argentina).
2. Diego Armando Maradona (Argentina).
3. Johan Cruyff (Holland).
4. Pelé (Brazil).
5. Alfredo Di Stéfano (Spain/Argentina).

Disagree - Maradona 1986, but generation bias is party to such polls. Only saw Best when he was at Fulham.

Cheers,

How on earth do the Germans do it ?....they look beatable but somehow they always win.....though I can't see them retaining the world title......but perhaps the semis again for them.....their football is based on doing simple things very well without mistakes and if desperate defending is needed : so be it ....other teams with more talent try difficult things and lose the ball....perhaps that's the secret of their success !...
