little willie,
I think you're probably getting worked up over nothing re post 50. I read Shag's post 6 as a reference to the size of Ainsley's genitalia rather than a slur on your own good character. I doubt that he was referring to you personally for one moment.

kayak,
LOL!
I thought the same!
Hilary,
Will you please refrain from referring to the size of people's privates in such a demeaning way?
It's not the size that's important, it's what you do with it, and i am always having to tell my partner this too!

My god, I've been telling all I know that MoneyAM is a great site for weeks, they come and look then tell me the boards are full of juveniles slagging each other off as in the many 'chatrooms' on the net, well done guys.

Slow,
I haven't seen your id before, so welcome!
It has been like that, but certain users have now been banned, and I think you will find that share discussion has returned!
We could do with a few new share related threads, so if you have any ideas, please feel free to start them!
I will start a couple of new ones, and with a bit of luck we can go from strength to strength.
Andy.

Well, it's no bad thing that some of the disruptive elements have been banned - but "share discussion has returned"? There wasn't much of that before the advent of ainsoph & his tormentors, and I remain to be convinced that there's a critical mass here.

It would be helpful to expunge the memory of "the fallen one", by starting new threads for no other reason than to test the truth of what the above poster says.A bb should not count its quality by the volume of posts, surely, but by the correct calls on shares, and the exchange of information and if so req`d advice.
Posting volumes of cut &paste and minute by minute accounts of a share are for----- , well you know what.

maybe a fair comment for those not glued to their screens all day but for someone like me this information can mean the difference between a profit or a loss.
in all honesty there are VERY FEW investors these days. its a gamble. pick a share it goes up 5% in a day you get out and move on. that is the reality. there is a pool of money that just does the rounds. occasionally like today a huge wad of new money drops in and makes most of us happy. but its a vicious dog eat dog cycle.
happy INVESTING

zzaxx99,
you're absolutely right, but I still think that share discussion has increased since some of the combatants were expelled.
This BB certainly has not reached critical mass, but it's still early days, and the number of posts are increasing, whereas I do see a reduction on ADVFN, despite them still being the most vibrant BB, for now at least.
I see that some of those thrown out of here are back over there already, so it just keeps going round in circles.
It is difficult to see how any finacial BB is going to achieve critical mass in the current economic climate, let's hope that somehow a bull run could develop to entice both investors and interest back into the market.

minxie..only just read your reply; you know me, in a daze 95% of the time, stumbled on this site as saw a ref to advfn. Now totally flaccid, no longer worked up, Ainsoph's three piece suite ? what gives?
Just wish MAM came through as quick as advfn, I sit and juggle waiting to log in, user name, chat room, it all takes ages whereas with advfn it's 200% quicker.
I tried creating a thread on prm about two months ago, gave it up as a bad job as it just didn't work, again no probs with advfn; I now see someone has got one going on MAM...lw

In one way it was a shame about Ainsoph because he genuinly tried to help people, however unfortunatly he had this knack of never backing off to avoid undue trouble and in addition he honestly believed that people who short stock were intrinsicly wrong. Thats not true as we all know, as in any market you must have both buyers and sells to balence the books. Unfortunatly his attittude wound a lot of people up and thats not good for anything
I spoke to Mike (Bullshare) about this,(Ainsoph) this afternoon and even putting aside the fact this is Mikes business (and he can run it how he chooses) I would support his decision on a personal level. Regardless of your status of either Trader or Investor we all gather here to use this sites tools and exchange information to our mutual advantage. We are not here to slag one another off, engage in duels, or attempt to misguide people by endless postings on single issues. Thats the main curse of "the other sites bb", Bullshare and his team want to create something better here

Paul,
I absolutely agree, and think Mike has made the correct decision here.
It is a shame Ainsoph had to go too, after all he did make share related posts, and provided vibrancy on the BB.
I did ask him to ignore the attacks, but i understand that he felt he needed to defend himself, although IMHO he should have made use of the conveniently located "squelch" button!

Paulismyname,
ainsey claimed to short stock when it suited him, he just didn't like the "plebs" having shorting facilities as he put it once. Gives you an insight into why he tended to get right up peoples backs.
He was also a compulsive liar with the unfortunate problem of having a terribly short memory. Good riddance.

Cant say i know of him shorting a stock.
He prob has the ability, as do most of us, but not the inclination.
I for one believe he had far more constuctive comments than the rest of
his anti-campaigners put together.
I think MAM made a mistake.
