Any thoughts on this company. Seemes to have good phase11 trail results in both their anti obesity drug and Irratable bowel syndrome drugs.

Makes a change for a bio tech com to do well.
Thanks in advance

Our suppliers are experiencing some difficulties, but are working to resolve them as we speak - I will keep you posted.

And plenty of chance it will drop lower before it goes up again

washlander - 20 Oct 2003 08:50 - 63 of 109

This is crazy, lol. Despite a great article in the Sunday FT and a hint at a possible buy out, the shares are down. LOL I love this game.

zzaxx99 - 20 Oct 2003 09:36 - 64 of 109

Well, there's no actual real news out at the moment, and it's quadrupled in about 6 weeks - some slippage is inevitable. To be honest, I think it's going pretty well to hold up at this level, I thought there would have been more profi taking.

Maybe holders are too scared to profit take because of the large move potential, and maybe others are holding because they expect a bid soon. Or maybe it's about to plummet! :-)

washlander - 20 Oct 2003 11:07 - 65 of 109

Hold your nerves with this one. If it is not taken over, the contracts when in place on the success of Obesity drug alone, [afterall they have cleared the major hurdle of phase 11b] will be enough to take this much further.

Ahhhh!

Help! Anyone out there a previous Nothing Ventured user? They've sold out to Fastrade and we've all been moved over to that site.

What a mess - this Fastrade site is crap. I'm so pissed off I can hardly type this message. NV was such a brilliant trading tool and now we've got this. What the hell are they playing at. Couldn't those numbskulls at Charles Stanley see that the NV site was much superior to there own and use that instead and just stick their Fastrade badge onto it.

Any ex-NV users please let me know what your thoughts are today.

I have started a new thread to discuss the NV/Fastrade issue.

Please post your comments there as I intend to email them all to Fastrade to let them know how dissatisfied we are. This is the link:

http://www.moneyam.com/InvestorsRoom/ShowPostList?fID=1&tID=1430

or search under the epic code of NV.

The title of the thread is Nothing Ventured vs Fastrade.

Many thanks.

Guy

I also want ot know what happen the share keep droping in whole morning.

washlander - 20 Oct 2003 13:57 - 68 of 109

Again it seems the market in general has dropped but now from 14 points down it seems to be climbing again. I think as has been mentioned above, profit taking and safe guarding their margins. No doubt it will climb again. This share did the same thing two weeks ago.

washlander - 21 Oct 2003 08:43 - 69 of 109

Am I misiing something here or is there something of a over sell. The only news I can find is positive. If anyone can please enlighten. I have bought more based on myor. Help

ckmtang - 21 Oct 2003 08:58 - 70 of 109

can anyone let me know what really happen right now? the share seemed keep dropping and dropping today and yesterday.

zzaxx99 - 21 Oct 2003 10:17 - 71 of 109

It quadrupled in 6 weeks, what do you expect? The news dried up, and it probably won't go up until the next news is out (which may not be until next year), or until bid rumours start up again.

IN the meantime, entirely possible that it might just drift down a few pence a day. 150p quite likely, IMHO, and 120p not out of the question. Personally, I'll be delighted to see 120p - because I have a great belief in the long-term strength of the company.

ckmtang - 21 Oct 2003 11:07 - 72 of 109

i think they seemed have something wrong inside, they keep dropping.....

boroboys - 21 Oct 2003 11:35 - 73 of 109

I agree stick with it, this has 200p written all over it short-term, just imagine how much the large pharmas would like to get their hands on alizyme's patents, I bet their md is sic to his back teeth of offers for the company or licenses deals. Lets face it the pipeline of products is in a very healthy state, more so than celltech and how much are they valued at, dyor but this will fly higher than 200p longterm perhaps even 400p.
