I wish could turn everything to gold, that would be good. Well my portfolio has such gems as NOP bought at 4p and I reckon at least a ten bagger over the next 2 years. ( In my early days I bought JKX at 36p and got fed up at 46p; it then went to 120p :-( right share wrong time to sell) KMR bought at 14p I reckon 1 within 18 months and several pounds in 3 years. Those are my top sharesalong with SEO I also have CEN which could easily be a ten bagger, YOO as a long term superstar. OXB which has to make lots of dosh, I'm just waiting for my money multiply. Then there are ZOO, AFD, TAD, PDX which I have made lots on money on buying and selling mostly at the right times. DYOR etc.

dynamite do you work in the city... Or are you well connected or is it all your own work (just curious).

Dynamite - 25 Jan 2005 10:24 - 563 of 27111

I work at the computer in my office at home in Essex. I run two websites, an IT company which writes trading systems and spend the day trading shares and spread betting. I was literally told by my hubby 18 months ago to have a pot of company money and buy shares. The only time I have done badly was last year when I listened to hubby who told me my profits wer not enough each time. I held out for more and lost, lost. That was August our whole portfolio is 70% up from August. I have always been lucky both with shares and in general. In 18 months I have virtually always picked the right shares, EPO being the exception, just not necessarily sold at the best profit. The only thing I am well connected to is the computer!!!!

Know that feeling, down on BPRG due to greed, should have sold out at around 1.60 when showing 100% profit but hey you live and learn... Thats why im wary of SEO and not taking profit... Good Luck to and your computer (sorry I mean your hubby)...

Dynamite - 25 Jan 2005 10:33 - 565 of 27111

AdieH...There is alot of difference to taking a profit at 1.60 and taking a profit at 8.5p! My hubby has no input at all now, I don't listen. SEO is only just beginning; the same as you lost out on BPRG you could lose out taking a profit so early in the game with SEO just as I did with JKX. The future is bright, the future is SEO IMHO

kshammas - 25 Jan 2005 10:56 - 568 of 27111

Got in at 8.9p this morning... Just how far do you think this one will go?

AdieH - 25 Jan 2005 11:00 - 569 of 27111

See previous contacts Kshammas... Skys the limit but will be profit taking on the way...

EWRobson - 25 Jan 2005 11:36 - 570 of 27111

Good posts. We should appoint Diana as our professional share spotter.

A couple of matters arising. How far will SEO go; depends on your horizons. My CFD provider (see below) asked me the same question, admiring my 10K profits, wondering whether I should take some of them, but I suspect wondering whether they should take their own position. Look at the cap. Approaching 70M against PDX at around 100M, yet SEO is well ahead in reaching the market. Comparatively you would put SEO at 150m or about 18p. The new FD today is a city man and it can be assumed that the appointment is to get the company known in the city. Goodness me, there is not even a quote in The Times. We actually know a lot more about SEO potential. A machine which costs 40K drags royalties of 30K PER ANNUM thereafter. Fund managers have been breifed that ASDA trials are going well. There is already a client base. Evolution gave price forecast of 10p but that was before news of successful trials. Two conclusions. My own price target would be 18p. Momentum though is the key: watch for sp following announcements but beware of slowing momentum. Risk?: little at present price; still hangover from BPRG cc - could be a reaction if settlement is material; any failure in trials, say, with ASDA though that now seems unlikely; profit taking? not much given that run up is in early stages.

ssanebs asks about trading SEO by CFDs. I use blue index: takes a few days to set up (blueindex.co.uk). Helpful; trade SEO on 5:1 basis; generally have to pay edge of spread. I hadn't got going with CFDs on the ASC run up last year; that would have been amazingly profitable. SEO might not be the 10-bagger, but at least a 2-bagger and possibly a 4-bagger from here this year. Good luck.

Dynamite - 25 Jan 2005 11:51 - 571 of 27111

Eric...I don't think so.. It is alot different finding shares for your own profit than it is advising others. I am prepared to tell people what I have and I know you have some of the ones I do. But definitely do your own research.

I totally agree with your comparison above. The risk is profit taking but that is only a short term risk here and there and really should be regarded as a buying opportunity IMHO.
Do you just feel the vibes for this share?? That's why it is PDX or better I think.

Gosh some excellent comments/views being shared on this board... Lets keep it up chaps/chapesses...

wilbs - 25 Jan 2005 12:56 - 573 of 27111

Just been watching working lunch and they interviewed the owner from a company called giffords who recycles pallets. Nothind to do with seo but he did mention about the amount of plastic that is sent to landfill sites a year and how things should be recycled to cut down on waste. Seo's packaging cuts down on the amonut of plastic that will go to landfill. Tray lidding and food packaging is big buisness in the uk andalso europe. It can only be a good thing for seo as it is their product. Theres only one way forward and that is up.
any comments?

kshammas - 25 Jan 2005 13:00 - 574 of 27111

I was watching working lunch too, I thought the exact same thing. He turned 500 into a company of that size, based purely on recycling, so it's clearly a market with huge potential. Hopefully SEO can capitalise on this and make us all happy.

wilbs - 25 Jan 2005 13:10 - 575 of 27111

The way forward is to recycle or produce biodegradable products so to cut down on waste. The goverment are now adopting this policy and with the general election soon the parties will have this on their agenda's. Hope asda signs soon then watch the rest follow. Im not sure if its seo but I have heard of another product. Its a plactis film that is put over cars in the factories to protect them and it is sprayed with somethin(water I think) and it disolves. Also a bubble wrap that will disolve in a dishwasher. If it is seo then there is more upside to this company.
If I am wrong, please feel free to correct me.

andysmith - 25 Jan 2005 13:23 - 576 of 27111

In the words of Bosley, fuck me!!!
I first got SEO last April and since I got on this thread last Summer I doubt if there has been 26 posts between mine, I turn my back for a few hours and look what happens. DONT SELL AND TAKE PROFITS JUST NOW, YOU MAY LIVE TO REGRET IT!! Remember Bosley thought about it last week to buy back in dips, I said knowing my luck it wouldn't come back, well called that right just like backing SEO. When this really flys it will be a multi-bagger, too soon to call how many multiples but I think x10 in 2005, further out quite possibly x20 and from my start position last year, the luvvly-jubbly 50 bagger. Un-realistic, well to achieve 250p would need at PEx10, EPS 25 which is only 25% of the target market of this technology only. Keep on dreaming, it keeps us alive but I won't be selling for a long-time yet, just buying on any dips. I work in packaging and from previous experience know this is going to be successful. Good Luck to all and well done to all who backed ages ago and those now taken the plunge.

EWRobson - 25 Jan 2005 13:56 - 577 of 27111

I like Diana's point about feeling the vibes for this share! Is that what you call feminine intuition or is it akin to the gut feeling, a variant of which is feeling it in the waters. Being a mere analytical male, You just analyse the fundamentals and compare the technical analyis. The conclusion is: everything is going for SEO - and its investors!

Its also super to have andysmith's view from the packaging industry, whi I hear saying that this is what the industry has been waiting for and it just has to take off. The other point to add in terms of the multiples is that the progression in trading figures will not be a straight line. Firstly, sales will follow the economic s-curve: first a few industry leaders buy the product, evaluate it and give it the thumbs up: that takes a year or so and we are in the middle of the process. Then the risk-averse majority come in and the gradient of sales increases several times. Second, add to that the gearing effect of the royalties and the curve is turning exponential. It would be impossible to forecast where it will be in 2 years time but it will be staggering.

Eric and Andy...Interestingly enough I was previously a Sales Manager for a very large packaging company and UK Business Development Manager for another packaging company in the same group. Maybe that's why I can see the huge potential. I research loads of shares but few have filled me with such excitment!!

afternoon all.a little calmer now than when i looked in last night. couldnt think of anything else to say. up again today . well done to the faithful and welcome to the newbies. eric, cfp starting to clamber up too. life is good. not sure about the new appointment . are we going to see a succession of rights issues? or are we going to have our rightful higher profile now? the potential of seo was there for all to see. it just needed time. (now i become evangelical) my people , the time is now. hallelujah!!!!!still sticking to my view of selling when i think the time is right and buying back in when it dips but holding tight for the moment.dont want to give a price as i am going to go on gut instinct, i know , not the best way to try to deal. unfortunately , my gut instinct has been right more times than my greed instinct , which is why i occassionally lose money, hold on too long. hello diana, your views are as good as eric, and as welcome. here's to more of the blue.
