Sefton Resources - a SCREAMING BUY at this price - small-cap oil producer (SER)

mjr1234 - 10 Nov 2005 12:44

This stock looks like the most undervalued oil company on the stock exchange. >
Sefton Resources epic SER. It is currently trading at a price of 0.275p valueing the whole company at just 4M.

You might look at the market cap and assume that this company is just an explorer or a shell, but in fact Sefton is producing over 6000 barrels of oil per month with a monthly revenue of over $300k. It's recent work on it's Tapia oilfield exceeded expectations, meaning the company hit it's 200BOPD target 5 months early, and is now expecting resource and production estimates to be further upgraded. This is before it embarks on a steam-assisted programme early next year which
could see production rates multiplied 2-4 times! It is also looking at drilling further wells on the rich Tapia field in the light of the better than expected results.

So why is it only valued at 4M? The primary reason is lack of awareness of the stock, the sub-1p price puts many people off straight away, and a large overhang.

A year or so ago the company was put in financial dire straits by a
well blowout and had to undertake large discounted placings to get
itself back on track, which it has done with a vengeance. However,
some of these placing shares, which represent some 25% of the company
are being sold into the market, depressing the price so that despite the fact that the companies prospects have improved dramatically over
the past year, the price has dropped by nearly 60%.

This makes the company an absolute bargain at these rock-bottom prices. In 6 months time I expect this to be worth 3-5 times the current price. SERIOUSLY.

There is plenty of research to get your teeth into, the best place to start is the website :

www.seftonresources.com

There are 2 excellent articles on Sefton on the following website by Ian Mclelland (Jan/Feb 2006) - well worth a read to get up to speed on this company and it's prospects:

I think the people who average 0.25p-0.30p could be taken out in about 2 days at the moment, even if every single one of them decided to sell out with 100% profit!

ravey davy gravy - 23 Feb 2006 23:51 - 563 of 1047

I now hold 2.5 million at average 0.34p, dont tell master rsi because i am
a amateur who has not a clue according to him ;-))

Snapped up 500k at 0.4p just 3 days ago on a dip.

mjr.

Just to point out that i will be top slicing at some point today although
it's nothing negative but i'm top heavy in these and want to play safe
and reduce the size of my holding and bank a good profit.

You do not have to tell anybody the amount, of shares you own
but You can tell everybody you did put your big mouth on GTL and made a "fool" of yourself, not once but a dozen times.

Just like yesterday talking about the spread on SER

Shame on you, something went to you head on the wrong way "boy"

And you are not a man, because you were wrong and on top trying to "jig " on me

fool come on dozens,

ravey davy gravy - 24 Feb 2006 09:35 - 566 of 1047

You are right i dont have to name my trades but in this stock i have
and if it annoys you i will do it again.......i hold 2.5 mil at 0.34p Rsi :-))

I watch your ghastly pump and dump thread on advfn, the "we'll only
mention the ones that are going up but go quiet when they start to drop
and never mention them again"

Next time there's a moneyam competition please find the time to enter
and we'll see just how good you are before you call me a amateur again !

YOU are a fool alright not answering the GTL business, ignoring your big mistakes, only counting one good luck time.

YOU are not only a "FOOL" but "BIG MOUTH" aswell

Master RSI - 24 Feb 2006 10:30 - 568 of 1047

Sorry to go on but I must tell the truth..........

That is what happen 3 weeks ago at the thread "trades" and the "fool" can't forget GTL was 2.43p and yesterday went to 3.35p, that is only 3 weeks ago .

Master RSI - 05 Feb 2006 18:51 - 7 of 44
This is my selection for the "UPS" this week GTL

GTL price 2.43p
Biggest ever volume of 50M some 17 times the usual
Broke 2p last Friday what was resistance since last September, the chart is looking very bullish now as on a couple days will do a Golden Cross
Construction work on its new ethanol plant in the US is on track to start in the Q4 of 2006 on production for 50 mln gallon a year company is investigating the potential expansion of that site to 100 mln gallon
Ethanol stocks have been rising since the mention of the word "ethanol" at Union speech by President Bush

ravey davy gravy - 05 Feb 2006 19:41 - 8 of 44
Be careful with Gtl resources.

Looks like a pump and dump from that lovely advfn bb.

55 mil market cap for a company that hopes to start production of methanol
by the end of 2007 not 2006, 2 years away and you only have to look at the
ups and downs of Biofules to see that the price is already far too high on future
events so dont chase it because you will get hung.

silvermede - 24 Feb 2006 10:33 - 569 of 1047

Gentlemen please,

I'm sure you are both fine upstanding individuals of the highest moral standing etc etc, but perhaps discretion would be the better part of valour and therefore could I ask that you slang each other off elsewhere and we keep messages on the thread to constructive issues to do with SER.

Ever grateful, Many thanks

ravey davy gravy - 24 Feb 2006 10:39 - 572 of 1047

Banked 100% on a small % of my holding at 0.54p to reduce having
bought at 0.27p a few months back.

Sefton will probably go higher though, all the mm's are in play for the
first time and there is serious competition for stock both ways.

Master Rsi, you are squelched, when money am start a new game i will
come and fine you, cannot believe you get jealous just because i have such
a small holding of Ser stock at a low price but each to their own.

mjr1234 - 24 Feb 2006 11:42 - 577 of 1047

olami5,

Yes, especially if you hold this until April/May, when I expect this to have exceeded 1p.

cellby - 24 Feb 2006 12:35 - 578 of 1047

1.5m on the bid .52 and 250k on offer at .58 ,someone is trying to gather in stock. im on a nice profit ,but after 2 years waiting i want more.

mjr1234 - 24 Feb 2006 12:42 - 579 of 1047

cellby,

I have my own target below which I will not sell one single share. I am sticking to this as in the past I have made the mistake of selling far too early.
It is more than double the current price.
