Morning Gianni, cheers I'll have a large one. Good Luck on the miracle!

A friend was unpleasant last week and you know when you dont want to trade or do anything...well I took refuge in here and I just want to say thanks to everyone for being so pleasant, GD for pampering and of course Socs for making me laugh. By the way boys, sorry but I've got to admit to owning a Porsche so there goes the fantasy!
Great escapism though, suppose I'll have to get ready for the knocks and kicks of real life tomorrow.
ps. Wheres the butler, he never did get to my feet!

snoball - 03 May 2004 13:53 - 5617 of 23498

GD, please sell my Boots and buy British Energy (BGY).
Thank you.

Socrates - 03 May 2004 13:55 - 5618 of 23498

Amberjane
You have just opened up a whole new fantasy!

stockbunny - 03 May 2004 14:24 - 5619 of 23498

Only briefly popped in - so who's the 'Snowbunny'??
Looks like we are slowly taking over the b.board world!
Hope all are well and GD if not too late GD can I swop CRY
for PAG in the game?
Cheers me dear....

amberjane - 03 May 2004 14:54 - 5620 of 23498

Socs, dont think I better ask u to elaborate!

Unlike some that are now probably researching the charts for tomorrows investments, I'm off to sand the kitchen ceiling which only has one benefit, I cant cook at the same time! I did feed the bunnies though, toast and carrots, NOT my chocolate today, I need that....

snoball - 03 May 2004 15:40 - 5621 of 23498

You got a wooden ceiling, amberjane?

snoball - 03 May 2004 15:44 - 5622 of 23498

stockbunny, don't recollect us ever meeting so can't imagine who snowbunny is?
Who knows when stockball will turn up?

amberjane - 03 May 2004 16:04 - 5623 of 23498

Bloody wish it did Snoball (it could be a sauna then) no bumpy plaster where a builder fell through when doing my new bathroom upstairs....but woodn't(Ha ha) I plane it then? No dont get into technicalities...if either filled, then both sanded, yes?

May need the butler again...my hands are still vibrating..any of that bistro special left to cool me down?

snoball - 03 May 2004 16:33 - 5624 of 23498

My sympathies amberjane. Sanding filler or plaster, especially in the kitchen, must be really nasty. Just keep it out of the kettle.
A butler would be useful for doing that job though I am sure they would consider themselves above doing manual work. Except massage perhaps.
What you need is a fit handyman I should think. :-)

Snowbunny - 03 May 2004 18:13 - 5625 of 23498

I'm a pure and innocent little white bunny with smudgy patches round my eyes and ears.

dotel - 03 May 2004 18:28 - 5626 of 23498

amberj - our new bathroom-to-be is directly above the room where (not) the builder came through a few months ago - lovely work of man-sized plaster board covering it up at the mo...

amberjane - 03 May 2004 18:46 - 5627 of 23498

A fit handyman ah, well if I could find one I'd put him to better use than sanding, which by the way is v. good for the arm muscles and beats going to a boring gym. The butlers very fit of course, nice firm hands, but not so handy with the dirty jobs.
Also of course I get the job done nicely!!!!!!!!(I did say nicely not correctly so dont bombard me) LOL

Rudolph_Hucker - 03 May 2004 18:56 - 5628 of 23498

Wheres my beer?

AJ - give Jeeves a poke will ya? Jump to it.

amberjane - 03 May 2004 19:01 - 5629 of 23498

Sorry RH I wouldn't go that far, but I'll give him a nudge if u get me one to.

amberjane - 03 May 2004 19:14 - 5630 of 23498

snoball - 03 May 2004 19:45 - 5632 of 23498
