Quindell Portfolio = Extending nicely for the future! (QPP)

Bought in today... have missed out on the impressive gains so far but solid progress is being made here and a good story developing so it looks good for more gains in the near future (imho)....

Quindell Portfolio, the brand extension company, says trading has continued positively in the period under review, building on the strong performance delivered by the Group in the first half.

The company expects to be significantly ahead of market expectations for the 15 month period ending 31 December 2011.

The Group announced back in October that it had won contracts with six established brands and one exciting new digital brand within the insurance, telecoms and utilities sectors, including for the first time, solar energy; and that revenues for 2011 were expected to be ahead of market expectations.

Since then, the Group has won further major contracts with established brands within the telecoms, utilities, on-line education and insurance sectors for both its technology enabled business process outsourcing division and software solutions division.

In aggregate, these contract wins could contribute over £6 million of annualised revenues. In addition, the Group has acquired two further businesses, Maine Finance and, most recently, Mobile Doctors Group Plc.

Margin performance has also been strong and, for 2011, margins are expected to be between 35 and 40 per cent. within its technology enabled business process outsourcing operations

I am out at 33.54
Too much new paper for me. Think this will take some time to absorb and will cause a few ups and downs. Still believe that this company is a longer term winner though. I am just sitting on such large profits the temptation to cash in is too much!

david lucas - 04 Feb 2014 09:14 - 564 of 1965

Hey SK
Do you have that .5 billion shares tucked away!!

Dil - 04 Feb 2014 09:15 - 565 of 1965

And how much is new paper david ???

0.019 billion , yeah that'll make a huge difference especially as most of it was used to buy a further stake in companies as will any further issues and as it earnings enhancing I still can't see yours or halifax's point .... unless you've sold of course.

halifax ... you been banging onabout COMS share cap for weeks and it doubled :-)

Dil - 04 Feb 2014 09:18 - 566 of 1965

Nice one on the profit david and it's no good losing sleep over a share price so you did the right thing imo.

Dil - 04 Feb 2014 09:27 - 570 of 1965

skinny ... you got a few more high dividend yeilders like RECI , or can you point me in the right direction to find a list ?

I haven't turned risk averse it's for one of my daughter's accountancy modules.

Task begins ... 18 year old Amy has a £1 million pounds she wishes to invest in order to buy a house !!!

Told my daughter to tell Amy she could buy a fecking street round here for that but apparently that's not the point of the task :-)

Balerboy - 04 Feb 2014 09:28 - 571 of 1965

They certainly seem very progressive and continue to move forward, to sell a percentage rather than all may have been prudent David. BWDK.,. ;)

halifax - 04 Feb 2014 09:30 - 572 of 1965

Balerboy - 04 Feb 2014 09:30 - 573 of 1965

jimmy b - 04 Feb 2014 09:32 - 574 of 1965

Funny module , just buy a house now and keep the other 800k ?

Dil - 04 Feb 2014 09:34 - 575 of 1965

You should see the rest of the question it's just as unrealistic Balerboy !

My second suggestion of sticking it under the matress til she was ready to buy was also declined :-)

Dil - 04 Feb 2014 09:35 - 576 of 1965

jimmy ... I'll suggest it but my daughter is wearing a bit thin on patience re: my suggestions :-)

skinny - 04 Feb 2014 09:38 - 577 of 1965
