Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?
If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?
Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?
What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Not so. Israel is intent on expansion into the West Bank. Israel's talk of peace and their vision of it is to stall the process. Previously they accepted 1967 borders and even senior army ex generals only yesterday said the 1967 borders were defensible. They are using the time to settle more Palestinian land. The right wing of Israel's government which holds the balance of power wants all of the West Bank as far as the river Jordan to be Israel. Israel passes more and more racist laws every week. They now regard settled land in the West Bank as part of Israel. The peace process stalls because of Israel. It was clear from the leaked PA papers months ago that the Palestinians had made huge concessions in the peace talks and it was Israel that were refusing them even though they got what they wanted.

Palestine: the Worlds Next Nation State
Palestine: the Worlds Next Nation State Dr. Bernard Sabella Jerusalem July 26, 2011 I am just overwhelmed with the Avaaz petition on Palestine: the worlds next nation as I instantly follow the signatures that are coming in and as of 13:50 pm on Tuesday July 26, 2011, over 445,388 people from all over the world have signed the petition and counting. The target is 500,000 and I am sure Avaaz will surpass this number easily.http://www.avaaz.org/en/independence_for_palestine_uk/?cl=1175765633&v=9676 Scrolling down the names and countries makes me more hopeful than ever; not simply because these signatories reinforce the Palestinian application for full UN membership but because of the belief of decent people out there, irrespective of national, religious or political background in human dignity by responding to the legitimate aspiration of our Palestinian people of ending occupation and having our own state. Seeing that there are signatories from Israel and from the Jewish Diaspora particularly uplifts my spirits. This says that there are many silent people everywhere in the world who share the same values and adhere to the same principles of respect for justice and fulfillment of basic human rights to each and everyone. Thanks to an American friend in the Mid West I have been alerted to the petition and I have alerted others. What we seek as Palestinians is not further confrontation but an end to a seemingly endless conflict and the continued Israeli control of our people and occupation of our lands. We are not asking the impossible but simply to be like other nations. While acceptance as full members to the UN will reassure us that the UN is once again the reference point for further political negotiations, it is not going to be easy for us post acceptance. The US Congress threatens to stop US aid to the Palestinians, Israel threatens to withhold taxes and custom duties collected on behalf of the Palestinian Authority and some countries, while acknowledging the right and the preparedness of the Palestinians to their own state, prefer to see a negotiated declaration of a Palestinian state. One needs to acknowledge that the status quo in the Palestinian Territories today cannot be maintained indefinitely. While state institutions of the Palestinian National Authority are on par to state institutions of over 100 member states in the United Nations, yet we are denied membership because of the tilted position of the USA and of the control by Israel of the Palestinian Territories and as some would say of Capitol Hill. The Palestinian National Authority has become simply an authority that runs basic municipal functions with some attention to infrastructure needs. In addition, the PNA and the Palestinian people have become hostage to the aid provided by donor countries and agencies and hence this dependence has limited the options left to us. We cannot continue living on aid ad nauseam. Some, particularly in Washington and Tel Aviv, insist that it is wrong to unilaterally go to the UN. But multilateralism; i.e., negotiations with Israel sponsored by the USA not to speak of the Quartet and its feebleness , has proven that it is not a feasible proposal as its end objective is to see the Palestinians serve Israel and do its dirty control and hegemony part whenever the palestustan state is declared by multilateral agreement. So we Palestinians have nothing to lose by going to the UN, come what may. Some among us are worried that nothing will change as of October 1st, 2011. So be it but if our application to UN membership is accepted or vetoed or postponed or denied altogether, we are sending a message to the world that we want our freedom and we want to be a nation-state like all other 193 UN member states.

It is not possible for the Palestinians to turn away from violence when their land has been stolen and is being stolen day after day even now. It is clear that Israel does not want peace. You would think that a request prior to peace talks for illegal settlement to stop would be seen as a pretty mild thing. The fact that Israel continues to build settlements is a clear sign that resistance by force is the necessary path. Only yesterday Tzipi Hotovely, Israeli member of Knesset of the Likud party headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, called on the Israeli government to escalate the construction and expansion of Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, in occupied East Jerusalem and the occupied Negev. Her statements came during a meeting for the Likud party on Monday evening.
Hotovely claimed that Israel needs to construct more settlements in order to resolve the current housing crisis in Israel. All settlements in the occupied territories, besides being built in violation to International Law and the Fourth Geneva Conventions, are Jewish-only.
Hotovely stated that the Israeli government can resolve the housing crisis by encouraging the Israelis to live in border areas in Israel in addition to the West Bank and Jerusalem.
It is worth mentioning that Hotovely is preparing to present a plan to the Israeli Knesset aiming at extending the boundaries of Jerusalem, as part of the so-called Greater Jerusalem Plan, by annexing more Palestinians lands in the occupied West Bank.
The full list of muslim achievements is vast. The ones I posted were not from muslim sites, by largely from The Independent and some wiki lists.

If the person who killed 100+ people in Norway were Muslim or Palestinian, the Press would have declared him as a terrorist. For now though, he is just an 'Assailant ', 'Attacker' (Reuters), 'Gunman' (BBC, CNN & Al Jazeera). Looks like 'Terrorist ' is a name reserved for Muslims and Palestinian? The US Dept of State calls it an 'Act of Violence', Not an 'Act of Terrorism'.

Subject: New Zealand spies.....
WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) A New Zealand newspaper group is reporting that the deadly February earthquake in Christchurch unearthed a suspected Israeli spy ring.
Three Israelis had died in the quake that killed 181 people. Other Israelis escaped the quake.
The Fairfax newspaper group, which didnt state how it obtained the information, said one of the Israelis who died was carrying at least five passports.
Fairfax said New Zealand Prime Minister John Key took four calls from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following the quake, and that an unaccredited Israeli search and rescue squad searching a cordoned area in Christchurch was stopped by New Zealand officers.
Key, who is traveling in California, told media Wednesday that it wasnt in the national interest to comment about the report
