I've recently bought a '0.3mm thick glass screen protector' from an Ebay seller to protect the surface of my cell phone. Price: £1.47 for 2, postage free.

Normally, flexible 'plastic' screen protectors are the very devil to apply to the phone screen. I find with these glass ones it's an utter doddle to apply one to the screen in a perfect manner.

They are bit fragile though, before you get one fixed. Being made of glass at only 0.3mm thick, you do have to handle them carefully. Once fixed = perfect!
