Galleon Re Contract
RNS Number:3982Y
Galleon Holdings PLC
15 June 2007
Galleon Holdings plc
("Galleon" or the "Company")
Re. Contract
Galleon announces that its Product IP Division has received a further re-order
for its "Blasterz" product, as the global roll out of this toy continues.
PepsiCo has placed its second re-order for a European territory valued at
#121,600 (EUR 180,000).
Since Galleon launched this unique, patented toy premium in 2006, it has
generated sales in excess of #3 million (EUR 4.5 million), from an exclusively
blue-chip customer base. Both new and existing customers are continuing to
evaluate "Blasterz" as a long-term promotional premium in their international
territories whilst, at the same time, existing customers are placing repeat
orders for the territories in which "Blasterz" are already in use.
Chief Executive, Stephen Green, commented,
"This second repeat order supports our belief that "Blasterz" has longevity far
beyond one promotion. In fact, it works so well as a premium that we expect to
be generating revenues from this IP for many years to come."

Galleon Holdings PLC
19 June 2007
Galleon Holdings plc
('Galleon' or the 'Company')
First Order for New Product
Galleon is delighted to announce that its Product IP Division has today received
an initial order for a new product from global consumables manufacturer PepsiCo,
to be supplied in 4 territories. The first commission covers the materials and
associated manufacturing costs for an order which has an anticipated overall
value of 2,150,000 (1,454,000).
PepsiCo, who intend to use the product to drive promotions on a worldwide basis,
has successfully tested the new product, which cannot be named for competitive
reasons, in multiple markets.
The creation of this new product comes as the Company continues to roll out its
'Blasterz' IP, which first entered the market in January 2007 and has already
generated sales of 4.5 million (3.0 million) to date, demonstrating the
perennial value of this kind of toy premium based IP.
Chief Executive, Stephen Green, commented,
'Evidence suggests that our new product demonstrates the same potential quality
of earnings as 'Blasterz' and could provide a substantial revenue increase for
the division in the coming years. Not only is it good news to be launching a new
product at this time, but it is also a great endorsement of our abilities in
this market that PepsiCo should require a second promotional IP from us.'

Entertainment Division gears up for launch of Apollo's Pad and
Skunk fu! in Q3/Q4 2007
Product Division builds strong relationship with PepsiCo and
Kraft
Group gears up for growth
David Wong, Chairman, Galleon Holdings plc commented:
I am delighted to see the strong foundations for growth that the management
team has built in the past 12 months. Our strategy of growing our product
division organically whilst building a portfolio of entertainment
based IP has resulted in strong revenue growth in the period and, despite
investing in new entertainment content, a reduction of the Group's operating
loss in the same period.
Galleon Entertainment now has a balanced portfolio of entertainment properties:
'Mysti' series 2 has just concluded its run on CBBC and we have some strong
interest to develop the brand as a Feature Film.
'Skunk fu!'is now on air in Australia on ABC and is due to be aired in 30
territories in 2007 and 2008 including the UK(BBC), Germany(Super RTL) and
France(France 5). Galleon controls licensing and merchandising rights in this
animated children's property for the world excluding Germany and owns a
share of the IP.
'Apollo's Pad', the 16-24 year old-targeted music meets comedy property, is
going live in the final quarter of 2007.
'Sokator-442', the kid-targeted soccer meets sci-fi multi-platform property,
has received presale offers from two territories and is poised to go into
production later in 2007.
Croco Worldwide is seeing real organic growth:
Croco's Blasterz product rolls out across Frito-Lay's European territories.
The division's order book is looking strong through to the end of this
financial year and into 2008.
Key members of staff have been recruited to ensure continued growth in
sales and operations capacity.
Galleon is now poised to take advantage of changes in the entertainment
landscape, with the shift towards multi-platform properties with the
emergence of online and mobile as entertainment channels, with 'Apollo's
Pad', the property that we have developed with Sony BMG, going into
market later this year. This has opened up some interesting opportunities for us
in developing markets like China with its already substantial mobile phone
market. With this in mind the company will seek acquisition opportunities in
the next 12 months to build our competency in multi-platform entertainment
based IP and to provide access to these developing markets.

This was added to since post 573:
We are really pleased that the BBC decided to strip the show every weekday at this time as it will be the perfect platform for the show to reach its intended audience of 6-9 year olds says one of Skunk Fus Exec producers Paul Young.
Skunk Fu! is a co-production between Cartoon Saloon, Dutch producer HLT production and Irish post production house Telegael. UK distributor Cake Entertainment is handling all the world wide sales of the series and Galleon PLC manages the Licensing and Merchandising.

After pondering for a while and thinking why I haven't rang the Galleon up,then again that would be boring!
The Galleon own 15% (with an option to gain more) of Skunk Fu plus they own the world licencing/merchandising rights (excluding Germany)
Skunk Fu was and is being aired in Australia through ABC so everyone in that country can watch the cartoon!
Skunk Fu is being aired on the BBC a week on Monday on a daily basis and on CBBC on Saturdays and all at peek times!
I deduce from that that this is indeed a top notch cartoon,as has been reported on throughout the many events where this type of IP is shown to encourage investment and buying over the years, which by all accounts has achieved.
The Skunk Fu books were due out in March of this year and they never arrived and are still not available! From what I can gather from speaking to Lavish (the book illustrators)their work was completed ages ago! They also told me as far as publishing of the Skunk Fu books is concerned then I would have to contact GON.
The publishers of the Skunk Fu books are quoted as being Imagineire and as reported earlier, their website has been down for over one might be nearer two months now!
Imagineire also are the publishers for the Hoo Ha House range of books and there appears to be no problem in purchasing these books from Amazon for example!
My point being that the Galleon have not commented on this at all!
Is there something bigger going on in the background?
David Wong who was/is the CEO of Imagination holdings which Imagineire are a part of,entered in a 'strategic Alliance' with the Galleon in 2005 (announcement on 18/07/05) where a lot happened regarding buying of shares in GON and transactions relating to Hoo Ha House and Mysti................I'm getting confused now!
As in Imagination Holdings were/are the holding company for Lavish........
I may be wrong but there does appear (to me) to be something happening regarding GON,Imagination Holdings and David Wong..................
With lack of news from both Imagination Holdings and Imagineire ie websites down and GON who would profit from book sales keeping quiet and along with the steady rise we are seeing I see something very positive happening....I think-lol
I wish I never started this post as I am now more confused than when I first pondered-lol!!!!!!
There is something a foot and I don't mean 12"-in my most humble opinion, lets hope it's for the good of the share holders,I think it will be..........maybe!
PS my spell check failed,be kind...................
