So jeffmack, when are we going to restart the Gee Gee Game

little woman - 04 May 2004 15:41 - 5670 of 23498

Silly me - its says the 8th May!

vasey - 04 May 2004 15:44 - 5671 of 23498

I am now starting to believe I will live and have stopped researching Armitage Shanks in quite so much detail but I have to now prioritise which information is important.....so, girls, does it matter that I haven't followed one word of this multi-poster/steph excitement over the past few days? Should I care who has been banned/burst into tears or apologised?

I even believe I could keep down a cup of tea and a biscuit, if there are any bourbons still in captivity. (I think I'll take them back to bed.....)

jeffmack - 04 May 2004 15:49 - 5672 of 23498

Priscilla, the Dow is Dead, straightlining.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 04 May 2004 15:52 - 5673 of 23498

jeffmack,

With regard to the Dow, our suppliers are talking to the people who supply their feed which is where the problem stems from - I will keep you posted.

Ian

vasey - 04 May 2004 16:02 - 5674 of 23498

Oh! Just assumed it must have gone up as the FTSE rose. Just don't know why it shot up 30-odd points

IanT(MoneyAM) - 04 May 2004 16:03 - 5675 of 23498

Jeffmack,

As you can probably see the dow chart is now working.

Ian

stockbunny - 04 May 2004 16:03 - 5676 of 23498

Vasey - still feeling rough? Hope it goes away soon.
I think the drinks should be on the house for an hour, seems
many could do with a strong drink!!

vasey - 04 May 2004 16:07 - 5677 of 23498

Just ignore me today. Even I don't think I'm making any sense.

jeffmack - 04 May 2004 16:10 - 5678 of 23498

Ian
Thanks for the updates

stockbunny - 04 May 2004 16:13 - 5679 of 23498

Well you are making sense to me, but there again that may not
be completely foolproof to gauge things by (giggle)
OK silly 5 minutes....
Wonder if anyone wants a light quizzy diversion....

Who sang:
"Take off your hat, kick off your shoes,
I know you're not going anywhere...
Run round the town singing your blues,
I know you ain't going anywhere...."
??????????????

bush - 04 May 2004 16:20 - 5680 of 23498

stockbunny - 04 May 2004 16:22 - 5681 of 23498

Hee-hee - very good....but not the answer in this particular case!

little willie - 04 May 2004 17:32 - 5682 of 23498

Rise and shine, you aint going nowhere.
Ooh eeh rise and shine, tommorows the day
that I'm gonna make it
Ooh eeh rise and shine, you aint going nowhere.

This was originally entitled "Little Willies Portfolio"
but then Robert Zimmerman got hold of it and nasalled it up.

Socrates - 04 May 2004 17:34 - 5683 of 23498

What's happening? so many posts and a quiz too. Sounds like the sort of think Ginge Rogers might have singied. Maybe even Gary Moore, whoever she is?

Vasey
I'm devastated that you are unwell, get well soon and I'll send you a card, me! No, not a cad a card.

Cheltenham is still wet, no it's sunny, no it's raining again. What the heck, I give up.

Lots of newbies here lately, they'll be shutting advfn down at this rate. I'll have to ask GD to build an extension and bring in some more tables and chairs. Funny, but one of the ladies told me ages ago that he needed an extension and I couldn't think what she meant.

snoball - 04 May 2004 20:03 - 5684 of 23498
