I'm glad you are all so convinced you know everything about TAD's interim results - before they are issued - which must be in the next 7 days.

You must have some very detailed inside knowledge which I was not party to when I did all my spreadsheets trying to forecast what the P&L would look like .. I stopped because I could not come up with any meaningful numbers - except a very wide range.

I am sure you will no doubt wish to share it with us. Or is it just uninformed opinion and prejudice?

rjs - 23 Jun 2004 11:49 - 569 of 2262

* Intel Case Study on Autodesk
* MS gold certification

well the above dont look like revenue streams

* MS contract

and i thought the above was for about $100K maximum

so NO, dont think I'm retarded thanks.

of course, Im sure you guys know best ;-)

pachandl - 23 Jun 2004 12:19 - 570 of 2262

Fair comment Madafish - which is why I have not attempted to speculate under guise of informed rumour. I assume that the trading statement will be bullish because it can point to these apparently exciting developments with MSFT etc. However, there is no RNS which can positively be used to demonstrate a massive +ve to the bottom-line. The real question, therefore, which analysts will be asking, is whether Tad can get through to profitability w/o a further call on investors' pateience. Although you made a genuine attempt to produce figures that might offer an answer it is a sad fact that tad's secretiveness prevents any investor having sufficient access to the appropriate data to provide any meaningful answer - we therefore are forced to go back to speculating.

Moneylender - 23 Jun 2004 12:27 - 571 of 2262

It wont be speculation for long, five more working days and you
will have the answers spelt out in black and white.
Dont forget we are having an initial upfront payment off MCI and Autodesk have expanded there use of Apps Exp, so both of these must/should have added to the revenue for ETI. Cartesia is also showing a profit!

pachandl - 23 Jun 2004 12:51 - 572 of 2262

ML - at the risk of appearing pedantic, we all accept that ETI revenue will have increased, but by how much? We need revenue growth that can confidently be predicted to produce actual profit for ETI within the next 6 months. Let's just wait and see.

paleface2003 - 23 Jun 2004 12:54 - 573 of 2262

moneylender,

Tho we know more, the interims will only show up to march 31st I believe, so lets not get too excited that they will be life changing, point is Tads is gaining traction...

I think we may all be surprised (pleasantly) how big MCI revenues are: but that will be the second half imo.

I have a forecast for H1 : I just want to see how wrong I will be. Just for interest. No, I won't publish it because it is based on far too many assumptions.

pachandl - 23 Jun 2004 13:34 - 575 of 2262

Mad - I trust you to tell us after the event how close you were.

Moneylender - 23 Jun 2004 13:53 - 576 of 2262

Paleface

I will guess that we will end up somewhere between 0 and 1m loss. Its the forward statement that I think will be mind blowing, but i am biased!

M

Ps Fish I have put my No's out, whats your guess, bottom line?
see who is the closest!

madasafish - 23 Jun 2004 14:25 - 577 of 2262

I have a range of numbers. I'm not into guessing games here.
And I will not boast about how much better than yours mine were:-)

No... no guesses from me. Sorry!

madasafish - 23 Jun 2004 14:54 - 578 of 2262

pachandl
I will tell you after the event how wrong I was and why!

The Other Kevin - 23 Jun 2004 15:39 - 579 of 2262

Mike - Are turning a little bearish on the wrigglers?

madasafish - 23 Jun 2004 15:43 - 580 of 2262

kevin? you asking me?

The Other Kevin - 23 Jun 2004 16:10 - 581 of 2262

Mike - Yes. Am I detecting a slight hesitancy in your mood - or are you still keeping the faith.

madasafish - 23 Jun 2004 16:14 - 582 of 2262

Kevin
I am still long (very).
I still expect the share price to rise substantially over the next 6-9 months.
I expect the flow of good news to continue - albeit with a bit more pizzazz:-)

The Other Kevin - 23 Jun 2004 16:19 - 583 of 2262

Mike - Snap!

Moneylender - 23 Jun 2004 16:36 - 584 of 2262

OK tomorrow is a rest day! I am knackered. Everyone have a lie in.

M

gildph - 23 Jun 2004 17:53 - 585 of 2262

Thanks ML

yuff - 23 Jun 2004 19:12 - 586 of 2262

RJS
You have a point and in the past ypu would be right to be cautious.
IMO this is a new beginning since the h/w has gone and DL took over.
I cannot see any reason for the interims being left until the last possible date other than to get all the recent contracts out so they can be relied upon for the inetrims forward statement which I think will be bullish, last years figures were better than expected and the price went up even with GEM being drawn down, this year I expect better news.

Moneylender - 23 Jun 2004 19:30 - 587 of 2262

Hi guys

I have been having a bit of a rethink. It may be unwise to let standards slip now, so I want you all up early again tomorrow!
Stop moaning you lot, lets just look at the facts. We have 5 more working days at the most before intrims, so we are going to get something imminently.
Why has the recent news been low key as far as PR is concerned, is there something else coming??
As Yuff says above, they want to get all the recent contracts out, so they can include them in the forward statement. There is more to come in my opinion.
If you ask me too prove it, I cant, but if you have done as much research into TAD as I have you will know we are on the verge of an Industry Standard.

Good luck everyone.

M
