So, presume that you're drinking the amber liquid through a straw from 'lucozade' bottles then?
Look forward to seeing you when you escape.
PS: Don't forget.... no sports cars or bucket seats .....

I've got myself down for that do at the Copthorne. If I can tear myself away from the screen - watching a great deal of not a lot - mind if I join you aforehand? Is/was the cider the "proper" farm stuff?

Not at all 55, more the merrier.
I will try and get what I call the "cubby hole" table at the back as 1st choice, if not will stay near the bar although gets a bit crowded there as I remember. See you later chaps.
Ed: OK Fred.

Survivor,
Ever made it to Tardebigge? Nice place there does "home " cider, just mind the guard dogs. Take your own bucket/barrel.

No..... In my younger days spent sometime in Vale of Evesham - where there was one excellent cider outlet - but you had to put a deposit on the pint glass ... I remember it all had 'lumps' in it...

Hope you both got home smoothly. So that 'pie and pint' turned in to 'japanese finger snacks & wine'. Pity about the seminar. Seems the DOW finished up compared to its position at start of the seminar..... so we won't be getting 5.

Just walked in, Dow finished -0.98, call it one for cash...how do we claim -):
Yes somewhat disappointing seminar, fair spread for an AIM company though -):

Morning..... think it was that it (Dow) finished UP compared to the figure they had written on that piece of paper - therefore no 5 for us. They said they'd e-mail 'winners'.
For a company with mkt cap of 28m then guess they could afford yesterdays non-event. To lose one key speaker is unlucky, to lose both of them ...and have no sufficient substitutes !!!l They don't seem to pay attention to 'fine details : web site is still showing past seminars with facility to register for them... and Sharescope voucher they gave out yesterday says expiry date is 19 Oct..'
Perhaps highlight of evening was the smooth pint in Wellington - although the finger food after the seminar was quite nice. And we had a 'toast' for/to Fred....

Good Morning Fred.... as mentioned we had a toast for you last night. As also mentioned, you didn't miss a lot as both main speakers at seminar didn't come!
See you before too long..... Hope you managed some beer with your pie ..... pity Davenport's (& its home delivery) no longer exists....

And if you fancy a lager or two at home, have you seen what Comet stock now:
The "Carlsberg Draughtmaster" for draught lager at home - cold and freshly poured whenever you want. They can home delivery the unit and Carlsberg can home deliver the 5 litre kegs for it...

Morning All,
Getting back to W/Spreads see their SP has done well since they floated, up from 51p to 76p then slipped back last week or so.
As for "Carlsberg Draughtmaster" I must reprimand you Chris for such a suggestion...leading Fred astray like that tutt tutt -):
ED: Worldspreads epic is WSPR.

Did you catch that train Stan after your heroic sprint in the direction of 7b?
My carriages were awaiting me, but they were short of the jockey. At least we could wait in the warm till he materialised.
Yes, Worldspreads even gave us a piece of real toast to make us think of our absent friend. Not too bad an event overall, but agree with above remarks re the substitute speakers. Do you think this lot might be worth an each way bet?
The Wellington seemed quite an enterprising operation all round. I now have somewhere to while away the hours when New Street is getting its collective bowels in an uproar.
Survive, The Tardebigge place, I perhaps didn't make quite clear. The outfit is a producer of the stuff........................
And please, no more talk of Fizz!!!!!

well, Fred's enough knowledge to be aware that amber nectar is nourishing and good for you if only taken in small quantities such as 5 litre kegs....
SB market is fairly competative and they guy did say the 1 point spread was a 'loss leader' - therefore guess that a fair proportion of bottom line is on advisory CFD's? On my charts it's nearly reached an oversold position after recent pull back.
PS: If the Draftmaster is now in Comet, perhaps not too long before it comes to Tesco or Asda?
