I am signing up to the following if any body wishes to follow me. I will update and post the league table on this thread. Did ok last season but joined late and was unable to catch up the leaders. Here's hoping for a better result this season!!
---------
http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/challengelawro/index.shtml
The new Premiership season kicks off on Saturday and this year BBC Radio Five Live's Challenge Lawro will be bigger and better than ever! What's more - we've also teamed up with BBC Sport's Football Focus. Tune into BBC One every Saturday from noon for the Premiership pre-match build-up and to hear the presenters give their predictions on the weekends' Premiership action.
Win with Challenge Lawro
The prizes aren't bad either - the Manager of the Month is invited onto Five Live's Drive programme to give Peter Jane and Mark, their footie predictions...and also awarded one of our shiny new Manager of the Month medals. At the end of the season, the player who has scored the most points, will be presented with a special Challenge Lawro trophy by the man himself. They will also be offered the chance to come into our London studios to be a pundit with Mark Lawrenson!
Last season, over 120,000 people registered to play Challenge Lawro. If you think you can take on your friends to be the champion of champions, then get playing now!

yes had a poor weekend but just 1 goal out in 4 games. chelsea should have had a pen. bolton player was fouled by united player for the goal, and that joker for crystal palace to score a own goal like that. It is a fine line between success and failure.

Srip - Many, many thanks - I'll do as advised and look forward to an entertaining season.
Off to the settee now to see my boys have their first European outing this year.

Doing well at half time! Was going to have a punt on a few matches but thought I'd let them all get the dust off the boots first.

Just 2 points today, expect to be down the list later. Strange results, usual refereing calamities by the sound of it.

I opposed Arsenal to win today. The bookies were offering a very short price on Arsenal and after their performance midweek and Boltons strong start to the season it looked mad to me.

I thought I would post up my alter ego who is doing remarkably well in the charts. Much to all our distaste its selections don't use any logic at all!! I suspect over the course of the season we should catch it up if we are using any skill at all!!!

Latest table, Man U vs Liverpool smells like a draw to me. But draws are the hardest things to predict.

Looks like a slightly easier set of matches this weekend. Seems to be some value in Man City 4-1 not to beat Arsenal.

Man City to win 2-1, (they've got to lose some time!), but as you can see that I'm propping up the table, I'm not very good at this, although I did have a late start to the season.

You can get 25-1 for that bet.

Kivver, You are correct I went back in and edited out my previous post. It was a good weekend for me. The results all "looked" quite predictable to me this weekend. I doubt if I will repeat that performance again though odds are massive to get so many correct scores in one go.
