Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I'm coming to the conclusion that these Parties , any of them are content to let this carry on . Yep, let them in they'll spend money all good for our economy while we are in power . The fact a lot send money home may have elluded them. Am I far wrong.

2517,
derF, your oft repeated post re Zero hours, and the Labour Party is a beneficiary, having their own employees on this arrangement.
2517
---0===
then they are wrong to do so.
I can't see the use of zero hour contracts and it may be useful. It is the abuses in the contracts I disagree with and that the Con party are crowing over false employment figures.
Employment up and where is the productivity which one would expect to have with it?

Immigration,
Bring them all in as "bus drivers", but chuck them out if they failed to stop at the lights. Mind don't give them any rights or decent accommodation. They will thank you for the rest of their lives.
It is or maybe a problem for the EU to resolve, but freedom of movement of labour is one of the tenets of the EU and can't be change unilaterally.
The immigrants are providing necessary skills in the market which are missing after 18 years of mismanagement by Thatcher with destruction of the skill workforce and loss of apprenticeships and investment into a deregulated gambling den known as the city.
====-=-=-=-=-=-=-
We can still send our professionals, graduates and skilled workers abroad for them to better themselves. So everything is OK.

Fred re ''then they are wrong to do so.''--- especially when they are so vociferous towards the Tories for the same.
There are obviously benefits for some employees to be on Zero Hours working, however I agree that there are also abuses, which should never be.
On immigration the point being made by VICTIM was that we are at, or close to saturation point as regards to our infrastructure.

JB.
I am critical of the level of government corruption, which is probably no worse now than it was in previous periods and due to media exposure possibly a little less. (The figures look worse and it is the hypocrisy which goes with it which irritates me along with blatant lying.)
But the same "racial" fingering of "foreigners" is similar as in the 30s with the bloody Irish in Britain and the Jews, Gypsies, and Mentally "handicapped" in Germany.
Like "fingering" the unemployed and "handicapped" by the government as excuses for their incompetences now.
Do problems in Welfare Service, NHS, Local government etc, need addressing? Yes, but after close review and examination to see what the real problems are and "WHY" they occurred and then long-term planning to remove those problems in a sensible manner.
Not Dodgy Dave, the Cameron knee jerk method of forming sound bite policies. Here to-day gone to-morrow.

Interesting how Andrew Neil can get a tory (government) spokesman to answer questions on Immigration.
Wonder how the Kippers would approach the problems.
