You shouldn't put lengths of cloth in the swimming pool - it's not the place to do your washing!

stockbunny - 05 May 2004 14:25 - 5705 of 23498

Caught a glimpse of the eclipse last night amid the clouds and
the tree next door that always seems to conveniently 'move' to obscure
anything celestial day or night!!

Vasey - good to know you are feeling better - have computer, need
food....easily sorted at online Sainsbury's or Tesco at least until you're feeling better.

Seems like you guys had better not let the bunny control the jukebox
than if no-one can spot a song by Free from the early seventies, am
I the only rock music soul in the joint? Bring on some heavy rock!!!
(All contributions with Blackpool written down the middle will be
duly accepted, Poochy will I think enjoy playing 'fetch' with them!)

'Ello Everyone, still lazing on a sunny afternoon. Kinky?
Been v. busy buying white goods for new gaff [most actual now silver grey- why's that?]...costa fortune..
Went to see Sweet Revenge and took her some large carrots which she muched down with bunches of clover [ think she's a vegan]..she's looking great..

Bit of a nuthin day on the market re my lot, hope you've all done considerably better, sps excepted.

Vasey..you ought to come out here to recuperate, good champs @ 4 bottle
and sunshine on your shoulders makes you happy.

vasey - 05 May 2004 17:02 - 5710 of 23498

Oh, thank you, little willie! I'm feeling much better today, indeed almost back to normal. Went down the road to get the FT and a breath of air when there was an enormous thunderclap! I thought my time was up....fair makes the heart pump, a shock like that.....almost had to go back to bed and lie down again. But this time, I brought food back with me, so no more fruit gums and custard creams for supper tonight. Real food tonight: fishcakes.....yum

MightyMicro - 05 May 2004 17:57 - 5711 of 23498

vasey, fancy a glass of something with that?

Socrates - 05 May 2004 18:32 - 5712 of 23498

Hi folks, sorry I'm late in. Family medical crisis, now resolved but a heart stopper for a while.

Break out the fizz and the sherry trifle, I'm famished.

jeffmack - 05 May 2004 19:27 - 5713 of 23498

Socs
Not another corn?

Socrates - 05 May 2004 20:16 - 5714 of 23498

No Jeff, 98 year old Ma fell down and rushed to hosspistol. Nothing more than nasty bruises fortunately. Told her to take more water with it.

Vasey
Are you still DYSing with death? Going well isn't it? My NIS and MPH are going a treat too.

amberjane - 06 May 2004 01:17 - 5715 of 23498

dotel
Similar problems then?? I've spent last 2 days, sanding, filing, painting, sanding, fil.....nobody looks at the bloody ceiling but there you go, gotta get it right. Going to chill out tomorrow at a spa with hot tubs, sauna, steam rooms, jacuzziiiiis, ummmm my reward but I'll probably be told as I've overdosed on water that we dont need a bath now ...well not 4 another 12 years! c everyone else has long gone, nite.

dotel - 06 May 2004 01:56 - 5716 of 23498

amberj - I have to admit, I don't do sanding, filing and painting..I just stand there with the mop and bucket every night and say, have you nearly finished? ;)

snoball - 06 May 2004 13:59 - 5717 of 23498

Where are you all today?
Wot's fer lunch?

jeffmack - 06 May 2004 14:08 - 5718 of 23498

Afternoon. Exciting day, I bought my laptop and wireless network gear into work and one of the network bods is setting it up for me. Now I can sit in the front parlour with the wife while surfing the net so never again can she say "You are always upstairs on that bloody PC"

snoball - 06 May 2004 15:50 - 5719 of 23498

I would love a wireless laptop, jeff.
One of the first things on my list when I finally make some money.

Socrates - 06 May 2004 17:10 - 5720 of 23498

lehol erevyone, aaaarrhhhhhhhhh my keyboards gone dicklegsick.

Oh that's better.

Socrates - 06 May 2004 18:48 - 5721 of 23498

Jeffmack
I only just realised, "front parlour", how many have you got? That's very traditional of you.

optomistic - 06 May 2004 20:43 - 5722 of 23498

Anyone serving? I'd like a large glass of something strong please, after a great day out come back to see red red red only one gainer for me PTG. Hope for some pick up tommorrow.

Golddog - 06 May 2004 20:51 - 5723 of 23498

amberjane, I like to think that poochy is good at decorating and always do my own. It is correct that no one will look at your ceiling no matter how beautiful it is, but they will notice if it's crap! :-) hope you had a nice spa thingy.

dotel, what you doing up so late? don't you sleep!

jeffmack, wireless laptop! that means that if your travelling along in the back seat of a car you could be coming into the Cafe at say 70mph?

Socks, get a new keyboard, jeffmack's treat!

:-)

Pint of Bods.
