This reminds me of my wife complaining that when she had a snack at bar with a Jewish friend of mine, seeing bacon butties on the menu and although she fancied a bacon butty she chose something else as she didn't wish to offend my friend who as she said, "the bugger promptly chose a bacon butty for himself"!

I do not think any food should be proscribed as long as there are alternatives on the menu, or the frequenter of a "food establishment" is made aware of the limited choice.

Sometimes when I was wandering in "me van" there were roads where everybody seemed to be going in the opposite direction to myself.
