Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

UK Mortgage Approvals Tick Up
By Jason Douglas
LONDON--The number of new home loans approved in the U.K. rose again in January, a sign that activity in the housing market may be stabilizing after a recent dip.
Data from the Bank of England showed banks approved 60,786 new mortgages in January, up from 60,349 a month earlier.
The number of loans approved rose for the second month in a row after several months of declines, the data shows. New mortgage lending, net of repayments, held steady in January at 1.6 billion pounds ($2.47 billion).
The figures suggest the U.K. housing market is leveling out after a sharp pickup in prices and activity in early 2014 that tailed off in the second half of the year.
Data from mortgage lender Nationwide Building Society, also published Monday, showed average house price growth slowed in February to an annual 5.7%, from 6.8% a month earlier.
Overall consumer lending rose in January by a net GBP2.4 billion, the BOE said. Business lending also rose in January, including to small firms.

Tube workers to strike over sacking of driver who failed two alcohol breath tests
Members of RMT union to walk out from 9.30pm on March 7 until 3.59am on Sunday following vote for industrial action over dismissal of London Underground driver
By Agency8:42AM GMT 02 Mar 2015
London Underground workers are to stage a short strike from Saturday evening in a row over the sacking of a colleague.
Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union will walk out from 9.30pm on March 7 until 3.59am on Sunday.
The move follows a vote for industrial action over the dismissal of a driver for failing two breath alcohol tests.
London Underground said it had zero tolerance towards drugs and alcohol, but the union has described its policy as "outdated and flawed".
Nick Brown, chief operating officer of London Underground, said: "This indefensible strike is about one RMT member dismissed for failing two alcohol breath tests.
"We will not be swayed by it as we will never compromise on the safety of our customers and staff. You wouldn't let someone who had been drinking alcohol drive your family in a car, and we don't let people who have been drinking alcohol drive people's families in Tube trains.
"Less than a quarter of the RMT members eligible to vote for strike action did so. For the RMT leadership to announce a strike regardless shows how completely out of touch they are, just as the timing demonstrates that they know they have very little support from their members on this issue.
"Should they go through with this action, it will achieve nothing and we'll work to ensure Londoners are kept informed and can still get around."
Mick Cash, general secretary of the RMT, said there had been a campaign of "misinformation and smears" against the union.
In a message to members, he said: "This action is the first stage as part of a rolling programme of industrial action and I urge all RMT London Underground train operators and instructor operators to stand firm together against this and any future injustices against RMT members."
The Conservatives have said that they will legislate to make it more difficult for unions to call strikes in key public services if they win the General Election in May.
Ballots for industrial action among transport, education, health and fire services would require the support of at least 40 per cent of all those entitled to take part – as well as a majority of those who actually turn out to vote. The TUC has condemned the move as a “democratic outrage.”
