THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

How many "poms" are there in France, Spain, Portugal, Austria and Swiz?
------------------------------
Fred i asked what you meant yesterday ?
Did you mean how many brits live in those countries ?

Fred1new - 03 Mar 2015 08:26 - 57179 of 81564

JB,

Did notice.

Just think of the remark in relationship to your post: jimmy b - 02 Mar 2015 09:01 - 57131

"Strange to see those protests in Margate last week ,everyone calling Farage a racist ,all he's preaching is that we don't have room for another 300k people this year ,
that's enough to fill another city" .

jimmy b - 03 Mar 2015 08:35 - 57180 of 81564

Have we got room for another 300 thousand this year ? and next year ?

Several million Brits won't be going to live in East Europe , if your comment is about Brits living in those countries you mention it does not balance up .

cynic - 03 Mar 2015 08:42 - 57181 of 81564

fred's utopia has elastic sides and bottomless pits of money

while we may not be able to stop eu transmigration, we can and assuredly should control non-eu immigration
that said, i think teresa may is nuts to throw out graduates without giving them a time-limited chance to find a job afterwards

TANKER - 03 Mar 2015 08:45 - 57182 of 81564

all this mess is down to people like my father stopping hitler but he died invane

jimmy b - 03 Mar 2015 08:50 - 57183 of 81564

Fred how many Brits have gone to live in Poland / Romania / Bulgaria / ? and how many of us will go and live in the Balkan countries waiting to join ?

And then you have TANKERS islam state in the UK as well ,it's a mess .

2517GEORGE - 03 Mar 2015 09:25 - 57184 of 81564

post 57180 -----I think Fred is beginning to see the light advising us to vote Tory.

Fred1new - 03 Mar 2015 09:35 - 57185 of 81564

JB,

Are you objecting to just East Europeans?

One of my daughters worked in Poland for 3 years.

The Poles didn't object.

The majority of emigrants are economic migrants and give to the country they "invade" more than than they take out of it.

Another daughter worked in Spain for 4 years.

Another worked in France and America for 3-4 years

Another "worked" in France and Canada for years and then invaded Australia and runs a business importing and exporting to Europe for 15 years.

None have been called "scum" or foreign "bs" or blamed for the failings if the visited countries government's failings.

The economy is now world wide, many people move around, chasing the buck or looking for a change of life style.

============

Ps My father-in- law was a political refugee from "communism" and gave far more to "UK society" which accepted him, than many of its indigenous population.

=======

Are there problems with rapid mass movement of population. Yes

Are there a small number of abusers in the numbers entering this country? Yes.

Those abusers, are at the "property laden oligarchs" in the larger towns, those hiding their "cash" in "deposit" boxes in London and not those hoping for decent living accommodation and perhaps a job .

Should some of these problems be addressed? Yes

Through negotiation in EU, etc,.

Because if the UK doesn't accept the "concept of free movement of labour" they will be excluded from economic negotiations of Europe, which will have consequences. (Forced repatriations?????~)

Should, immigration be controlled? Yes, but the "problem" should not demonised and turned in to a political ball to kick around and held responsible for personal or governmental policies failings.

We maybe making them responsible for our own personal ineptitudes.

Is that sufficient!
