One of my daughters worked in Poland for 3 years.

The Poles didn't object.

The majority of emigrants are economic migrants and give to the country they "invade" more than than they take out of it.

Another daughter worked in Spain for 4 years.

Another worked in France and America for 3-4 years

Another "worked" in France and Canada for years and then invaded Australia and runs a business importing and exporting to Europe for 15 years.

None have been called "scum" or foreign "bs" or blamed for the failings if the visited countries government's failings.

The economy is now world wide, many people move around, chasing the buck or looking for a change of life style.

Are there problems with rapid mass movement of population. Yes

Are there a small number of abusers in the numbers entering this country? Yes.

Those abusers, are at the "property laden oligarchs" in the larger towns, those hiding their "cash" in "deposit" boxes in London and not those hoping for decent living accommodation and perhaps a job .

Should some of these problems be addressed? Yes

Through negotiation in EU, etc,.

Because if the UK doesn't accept the "concept of free movement of labour" they will be excluded from economic negotiations of Europe, which will have consequences. (Forced repatriations?????~)

Should, immigration be controlled? Yes, but the "problem" should not demonised and turned in to a political ball to kick around and held responsible for personal or governmental policies failings.

We maybe making them responsible for our own personal ineptitudes.

Fred , for a start i never called anyone coming here scum ,so remove that bit .

The type of countries you are talking about we have all moved around for years ,i would guess it was fairly even the comings and goings .

We do have a massive problem with with rapid mass movement of population and i have not alluded to abusers ,my problem is the jobs for our young people and the strain on schools the NHS and other services.
We cannot take 300 thousand people a year ,not even good people .
I don't blame the the people coming here ,i would do the same if i was in their shoes .

Immigration as all subjects need to be discussed and possibly planned for.

There are consequences, but some of the said results being spotlighted are false conclusions and being utilised as "totem poles" to engender hatred and for "political" advantage, similar to using those on "welfare" or "social benefits" etc..

To me it is unpleasant and not aimed at addressing the causes or reasons for the real problem and simply attacking the symptoms of the problems for short sighted "personal benefit".

fred - i'm very surprised that you remain so sanguine at the thought and indeed actuality of some 300k immigrants a year
for fairly obvious reasons, and it is a matter of record, i would never want to block ALL immigration, but in today's economic climate, it needs to be curtailed and very significantly
rather crassly and not entirely accurately, one could comment that charity begins at home

As many as 373 children may have been targeted for sex by gangs of men in Oxfordshire in the last 16 years, a serious case review found.

The investigation came after a sadistic sex gang of seven men were jailed in 2013 for abusing six girls in Oxford, between 2004 and 2012.

Thames Valley Police and Oxfordshire County Council made "many errors" in that case and could have acted sooner.

A victim of the gang said the issue had been "swept under the carpet".
