Havent been trading much recently.
We had to move out of our rented flat, negotiated with the agents on another flat, went to meet the owners(the english have a bad reputation outhere!) and discovered that we had been shown the wrong flat the day before we were meant to be moving in! Thats spain for you. Ended up being homeless for a month (while we were trying to find something suitable at the right price) so went to stay and work with some friends and lived in a shepherds hut up in the hills. Great change, incredible scenery and often saw the eagles flying around the hills.
Quite a shock to come back down to the coast (or should I say building site, there is soooooomuch building going on out here, whose going to buy all these developments god only knows. The build quality is just unbeleivable!). Just wish they had better internet in the hills.
Just rereading elders books (afternoons on the beach!), think my time has been well spent rather than trying to trade cable at the moment! Back in uk next week for the rest of the month so wont be back infront of the screen til august. Have a good summer, catch you later on in the summer.

Gfi, sorry to hear of your accommodation problems - you should come and live near me, good quality housing, temperatures in the 30's, plenty of fresh clean water, good shopping areas and lots of bars and restaurants. What more could you ask for :-)
How did you get on with the creepy crawlies in the shephards hut - not pleasant I imagine. Hope you get sorted out soon. Good luck.

I obviously missed a good day on Tuesday - no-one invited me :(
Couldn't have made it anyway - nah nah
Anyway, still got the longs open and due to go to Golf - so do I risk it and hope for the same outcome as last week ........ or do I just take the pips and run ?????
It's a rhetorical question - so you don't need to answer.
mg nomates
PS - 60 minute charts look good so I'll be leaving them - hoping it's not a fake crossover on the MA/EMA (60/25 setting)

H, where do you live(dont by any chance sell property do you)?
Had my first encounter with a scorpion! Few snakes about, but I didnt see many.
I really enjoyed it, clean mountain air, slept like a baby and the food and drinks were about 1/4 the price of England.

nice one mg, had an awful start to the day, closed an overnight short, reversed, lost conviction and shorted again, should have closed but didn't, but was long during the payroll, so most of the losses back. Bloody roller-coasters!!

Squeezed 60 points out of that burst upwards but wasnt too impressed with the way Fins managed my position. Had to finally ring them to sort it out.

I use IG Index who usually have a 3 pip spread on cable, widened to 10 pips though during the news release, merchant bankers springs to mind!! However all of my orders were filled. From reading the CMC thread, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole!!
Unlucky John, better change your Dealer; and you can certainly do without having to phone Baks, with all the delays that entails, specially when you are yanking some poor bugger's wisdom tooth out :-)

Darn Sarf today but taken a little short out @505 - indicator = 60 minute MACD (settings 19,39,9). Not at all sure as the MACD not giving too much away (60MA, 25 EMA). Stop in @ 545 - just above Friday's high.
About time I blew it - been having a good run of late:(
Will check in again late afternoon.

Returned to find that my limit had triggered to give me 100 points - probably around 13:00ish.
Very happy with that.
Well done Bakko & hopefully Harlosh.

No positions at the moment - 60 min MACD looking as if it might turn but not prepared to risk it - could well continue on its way down. Will take another look this afternoon.
Good luck to anyone feeling lucky :)
