Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

anyone like/able make realistic 'prediction' how low this will go,nematode...how cheep do you recon very very cheep is, daft questions Iknow! I,ve bught 2 extra lots on downward slide wanting to cash in on lower price :-( tempted again running v.close to investing/gambling more in this very promising stock than I should . I WILL go medium term at least, i.e next results D>

nematode - 08 Dec 2003 16:50 - 578 of 3104

I would think 2.65-2.75 is low as it going to get as spookily enough I'm thinking of topping up.I think institutions will be mopping it up via the mm's at these levels.

blakester - 08 Dec 2003 16:53 - 579 of 3104

So today could be bottom then?

Douggie - 08 Dec 2003 17:09 - 580 of 3104

many inc. me thought 3p was bottom..:-((....

blakester - 08 Dec 2003 17:29 - 581 of 3104

I must admit I really don't understand this stock at all. Everyday the price drops and yet everyday everyone raves about its "long term" potential and still
profits fall by the way side. I can well understand topping up the lower she goes but in the end aren't we all just going to hold vast amounts of nothing?
I, as much as anyone here, need this price to do something/anything but until I see any price rise worth noting I believe we are grasping at straws...

skids - 08 Dec 2003 17:49 - 582 of 3104

I don't think anyone investing in CYH will be disappointed by March'04. But watching the price everyday will depress you all. I personally think the price should be at 3.14p, but more news will take it higher than that. A 1.5m per year new contract should take the price beyond 3.5p, so I doubt there is anything to worry about. Albeit Cybit may well choose to publish future contracts only when won rather than while there still bidding!
This is my opinion, so pls DYOR.

P.s I do not work for Cybit.

So no-ones really expecting a rise of 4p+ then?

chrissie - 08 Dec 2003 18:09 - 584 of 3104

A late trade went through at 17.33 at mid price 2.7 1.750,000

I guess we'll find out whether it was a buy or sell tomorrow morning. I reckon a buy. Any ideas anyone?

blakester - 08 Dec 2003 18:17 - 585 of 3104

I'd be very interested to know, Level 2 anybody?

skids - 08 Dec 2003 19:32 - 586 of 3104

blakester,

I do think this share will be above 4p by next results. But my point is it won't take a huge order to get the price up again. Obviously another ?3m deal will send the price even higher. Time will tell how many deals Cybit can grab in the next 6mth+. In short I'm in until at least March'04 because thats when the real benefits will be seen.

cheers

Does anyone know if the following news will aid Cybit? Does Cybit produce or supply services for Trafficmaster and or the Trackstar product?

--------------------------------------------------------------

Nissan and Mazda sign up for Trafficmaster product
AFX
Trafficmaster to supply its Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking product to the carmakers

Trafficmaster PLC, which supplies digital traffic information and telematics services, said it signed agreements with Nissan Motor Co and Mazda Motor Corp for its Trackstar stolen vehicle-tracking product.

The product, which is marketed as RAC Trackstar, provides 24-hour protection and enables motorists to track the location of their vehicle, if stolen.

Nissan Motors (GB) has selected RAC Trackstar as the only approved stolen vehicle tracking system for the Nissan 350Z, Trafficmaster said.

Trackstar has also been nominated as Mazda's only approved tracking system for the recently launched RX-8 model and will be rolled out as an approved optional accessory across the entire Mazda range in early 2004.

Orange Blob - 09 Dec 2003 10:28 - 588 of 3104

Last chance to buy at under 3p?

skids - 09 Dec 2003 10:38 - 589 of 3104

Why do you say that OB?

Orange Blob - 09 Dec 2003 10:44 - 590 of 3104

Significant appointment today for Cybits move into Europe. This stock has been a constant faller lately as u may have noticed! Surely this has been overdone.
The news today + even a small contract win should see us hold well over 3p level

skids - 09 Dec 2003 10:46 - 591 of 3104

Agreed OB. Hopefully your right that today may be the start of the push up. Albeit I'm not in a hurry to take profit. Next year will bring bigger contracts (IMHO) and higher profits.
