nice one mg, had an awful start to the day, closed an overnight short, reversed, lost conviction and shorted again, should have closed but didn't, but was long during the payroll, so most of the losses back. Bloody roller-coasters!!

Squeezed 60 points out of that burst upwards but wasnt too impressed with the way Fins managed my position. Had to finally ring them to sort it out.

I use IG Index who usually have a 3 pip spread on cable, widened to 10 pips though during the news release, merchant bankers springs to mind!! However all of my orders were filled. From reading the CMC thread, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole!!

Unlucky John, better change your Dealer; and you can certainly do without having to phone Baks, with all the delays that entails, specially when you are yanking some poor bugger's wisdom tooth out :-)

Darn Sarf today but taken a little short out @505 - indicator = 60 minute MACD (settings 19,39,9). Not at all sure as the MACD not giving too much away (60MA, 25 EMA). Stop in @ 545 - just above Friday's high.

No positions at the moment - 60 min MACD looking as if it might turn but not prepared to risk it - could well continue on its way down. Will take another look this afternoon.

I'd say the bias is still with the bears, mg, but agree that it could go either way. Guess it's all on the trade balance in a few minutes time.

This trading whilst "working" is a bit dodgy but manged a few pips from a short yesterday - which is still open and giving back some of the gains. Looking to close and reverse as the 60 minute MACD looks as if it's turning.

Off on a jolly to Warwick Business School today - will have my serious head on - if I can find it. You can never remember where you put things in these turnip fields ;)
