They -mm`s- are not interested in premiums or discounts 90% of the time , thats not to say they don`t use the situation to cash in as appropriate.Almost all of their money is made on the spread, the "mm`s playing games" theme is bb-BS.
MM`S are merely glorified barrow boys shouting their wares at a fixed profit (spread) if they see the market becalmed they will move the price to suit trades, up or down, they care little, and very rarely hold shares , why would a bookie own a horse?, they use derivatives to hedge.

gardening must come first

offski.

hewitt....

i assume heavy buying next week with no sp increase means the 44million i(or part) is being dumped.

jimmy b - 10 Jun 2005 15:45 - 5733 of 27111

Wealth Warning..The price of shares can go up as well as down,,make sure you understand the risks before you buy,,your stake could become worth more than your original investment.
This could result in you having to spend endless winters moored off the carribean in a 300ft yacht, or something similarly unpleasant....

insiderinside - 10 Jun 2005 15:46 - 5734 of 27111

Thinking about it - the only way they might be able to comment on more trials is a "By the way" part of another RNS - so they might try it on when/IF the Biotec deal is approved - we might get another load of "expect" "hope" and all that about the potential future with Biotec (this loss making company) - they can then also say about the trials. You have to laugh - the loss making Biotec - potentially sold as the owner is losing money with it - will suddenly IMO become another jam tomorrow string to SEOs bow - loads of hope - expect - could - potential and like wording to go with the RNS IMO. More Jam Tomorrow anyone ? ;-)

wilbs - 10 Jun 2005 15:46 - 5735 of 27111

Nice one jimmy b.

jimmy b - 10 Jun 2005 15:51 - 5736 of 27111

I just thought it only fair to post that warning wilbs..

wilbs - 10 Jun 2005 15:54 - 5737 of 27111

Im glad you did jimmy cos I now think this game is not for me. The carribean in a 300ft yacht!!! No way!!!

superrod - 10 Jun 2005 15:55 - 5738 of 27111

jimmyb,wilbs,
i think you are both very naive. if the only way is up, everyone and their mother would be buying this.

on the plus side, knowing that so many diehards are seo fans will make my exit a lot easier when the time comes.

no offence intended to ANYONE.......i just cant believe that peeps are parting with dosh and have little grasp of reality.

bhunt1910 - 10 Jun 2005 15:58 - 5739 of 27111

superrod - forgive my ignorance - what is a peeps?

wilbs - 10 Jun 2005 16:02 - 5740 of 27111

superrod,
I parted with my dosh at 6.5p, sold some for a very good profit, topped up and sold along the way and am now here for the lovely ride up that seo will take us all who are in.
I have nothing to loose but like others on here, im not going anywhere.

Stavros, a Harry Enfield TV character, used to say peeps: meaning people.

We are all tired of him talking out of it.

jimmy b - 10 Jun 2005 16:09 - 5742 of 27111

superrod, im not naive im the same as wilbs, and i do think there is big risk to this,,ive made and lost playing these types of shares, and i also always welcome the negative,, its just that 11 has become so tiresome..

Rasenberg - 10 Jun 2005 16:18 - 5743 of 27111

Why does II have so much to say on a share that he says he has no interest in?

Is there not something more important to be doing with your time with shares that you do actually hold ?

From my point of view it is very easy to sit there saying these shares will come crashing down and I have no doubt that if you sit there long enough saying the same thing one day you will be proved right but since I have been reading this BB the price has steadily increased albeit with a few minor set backs which have been overcome everytime.

If I am still holding these shares when that day comes I will gladly buy you a drink as you will have earned it by then.

Your aim is obviously to put off any potential new investors , like myself, from investing in SEO for some reason ( and it certainly isnt out of the kindness of your heart ).

Any newcomers reading this will be best served listening to the trusted posters on this site ( who are pretty clear to see by only reading back a short way ).

bhunt1910 - 10 Jun 2005 16:19 - 5744 of 27111

Thanks Staeside - I had assumed it did mean people - but wanted to make sure that it did not relate to something specific. I had not made the connection - obviously watch the wrong TV - thanks

Possibly he is writing up his PhD thesis on winding people up and their reactions.

Thx Driver but been reading that for a while now and found it very helpful to establish facts and potential of SEO from all the BS that has crept into this BB.

driver - 10 Jun 2005 16:38 - 5748 of 27111
