Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Manuel,
Lunch time was spent looking for a peg with files and passwords on.
Thank god they were double encrypted.
Found them, weighed myself and found I had lost two stone in weight.

But you must admit your party is an embarrassment.
Don't know how you dare to go out.

Interesting to see the Paedophile investigation of the late 1970-200 period is going be carried out.
Hear there will be a few embarrassed faces.
But suppose it was a problem of old problems dying hard.
Wonder government tried to smoother previous investigations?
Perhaps, the government may be bug up or screwed again.

What JC can take with him is his 'mouth' and his 'attitude to motor cars'.
I'm not sure if he would be able to take his two TG mates along though. Just like JC, they can now write tickets on their own merits.
At a lower level, there was something similar when Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley both left The One Show.
However, within minutes they were both 'forgotten'. Matt Baker and Alex Jones took over the regular presenter roles and lots think these two are more pleasing to watch.
I think Top Gear will go on - but without Clarkson. I think he has punched someone else in the jaw shot himself in the foot.
As to whether Hamster and Captain Slow stay on, well, that will depend upon the money they get offered. But they are 'old Top Gear' and what will be wanted will be 'new Top Gear'. The international expeditions were getting to be a bit much, IMHO.
Obviously, punters do like to watch guest drivers competively racing around a circuit and it will be the BBC who rent the airfield where they do this stuff. I don't think Clarkson can take that deal with him - or can he?
Hmmm? Yes, a very big 'Hmmm?' This one is going to be very interesting.
There is one small rescuing point.....
The producer chappie, who got clocked in the kisser, hasn't brought any assault charges. This means a 'hand shake' could still be on the cards. If his lawyer negotiates a 'secret undisclosed compensation settlement' from Clarkson, then all might be rescued and the series be allowed to continue as is.
But does Clarkson need a bit of therapy or a bit of a break from things or a big rest?
I think he does.
So....I think we may well have seen the last of him on Top Gear. My £5 says, the BBC will not set a precedent and will definitely say, 'Bye Bye, Jeremy Clarkson.'
My £10 says, the BBC will change the format and the presenters and give someone else a chance at doing something along the same lines.

I don't wish malice on Clarky.....but Jay Leno might takeover until a replacement is found if it came to a showdown between JC and his bosses.....

I am beginning to understand the Tory Cabinet now.
Grant Shapps is just another one of the birds of a feather!
What a crew!
Is there a stench when you walk down Downing Street?
