THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

I sense Fred is getting nervous about the Tories gaining a majority in the GE.

Manuel,

Firstly it will rid us of Cameron and what I would think is one of the most corrupt period of government since WW2.

I hope it will provide a government, which is respectful of all in society from the poorest and most "needy" to the wealthier.

I hope such a government, which will be an Alliance of Labour, Lib/dem. and SNP. I think Miliband was wrong to refuse to consider a coalition of the above after May with the SNP part of it. A coalition would provide a more stable government and be able to formulate more inclusive long-term policies without disrupted partisan actions.

You can’t dismiss SNP if they are the major representatives of 5.5 million Scots, unless you are prepared to accept disruptions of government.

(I think tories and Labour are considering their own short term political interests, rather than those of the UK as a whole. The weakness of “said” democracies.)

I hope that an Alliance government would sit down and consider the UK’s position in the European Union and the World more realistically.

Also, to consider the policies needed for a long-term policies economically successful UK and the method of implementation of necessary changes.

That will do for a start. The devil is in the detail.

But you can run through the various government departments and services examining their failings.

oh dear fred ..... you failed to address the question for a change .... naughty boy!
to be honest, i was hoping for one of your generally silly political cartoons

Fred1new - 17 Mar 2015 10:13 - 57591 of 81564

Do you mean something like this:

Fred1new - 17 Mar 2015 10:15 - 57592 of 81564

or this:

cynic - 17 Mar 2015 10:15 - 57593 of 81564

no, i meant one that poked at your mate red ed and his equally incompetent bunch of wallies .... you seem very reluctant to post those

Fred1new - 17 Mar 2015 10:22 - 57594 of 81564

Napoleon, is this true?

Fred1new - 17 Mar 2015 10:24 - 57595 of 81564

I think that is enough for to-day!

cynic - 17 Mar 2015 10:35 - 57596 of 81564

where's the red ed swipe? ..... not that you'll get off your arse to vote anyway

jimmy b - 17 Mar 2015 10:47 - 57597 of 81564
