Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

i am a strong advocate of peaceful co-existence between the israelis and the palestinians
in the very early years of israel's settlement by the jews (late 20s early 30s from memory), the two communities had a very amicable relationship
unfortunately for the whole region, IDF became a serious force and their focussed aim was to dispossess and drive out the indigenous arab population
that said, there was also a militant faction on the arab side too
try reading some history instead of just spewing nonsense polemic and bile

sorry old bean ..... thought you were referring to MrT and his customary ranting
personally, i thought the budget sensible within the constraints that we (the country) has
GO is certainly a lucky chancellor which almost makes him good by definition, as the collapsed crude price is a godsend for him in all sorts of ways

He is lucky with oil prices which has made have made some of his other figures look better than they are.
Listen to the analysis to-night and FT tomorrow!
Actually, Ed's reply was better than I expected.
The "boy" may come good.

Anyway, my SBs look better than they did a couple of days ago.

oil prices have assuredly helped the feelgood factor and of course keep a tight lid on inflation (for better or worse)
the market clearly liked the statement, and from the little i listened to, there was not much negative, though there's inevitably some who are disappointed

Terror attack at Tunisian museum leaves 22 people dead: 'Islamist' gunmen slaughter foreign tourists and take dozens hostage before being killed themselves as armed police swarm to end siege
At least 17 foreigners have been killed in a terror attack in Tunisia
Twenty-two people were killed in the attack: 17 tourists, the two gunmen, a museum security officer, a cleaner, and a police officer
Two gunmen opened fire in the capital's Bardo Museum about midday
The pair 'hunted down' tourists indiscriminately in the shocking attack
Another 30 people were held hostage before police raided the building
Both attackers and a policeman were killed in the ensuing shootout
The dead included nationals from Italy, Poland, Germany and Spain
Tunisian PM Habib Essid has warned attackers may have had accomplices
the above happens when the world as weak feeble cowards as leaders
the world powers need to act or put up the white flag for good
