Sefton Resources - a SCREAMING BUY at this price - small-cap oil producer (SER)

mjr1234 - 10 Nov 2005 12:44

This stock looks like the most undervalued oil company on the stock exchange. >
Sefton Resources epic SER. It is currently trading at a price of 0.275p valueing the whole company at just 4M.

You might look at the market cap and assume that this company is just an explorer or a shell, but in fact Sefton is producing over 6000 barrels of oil per month with a monthly revenue of over $300k. It's recent work on it's Tapia oilfield exceeded expectations, meaning the company hit it's 200BOPD target 5 months early, and is now expecting resource and production estimates to be further upgraded. This is before it embarks on a steam-assisted programme early next year which
could see production rates multiplied 2-4 times! It is also looking at drilling further wells on the rich Tapia field in the light of the better than expected results.

So why is it only valued at 4M? The primary reason is lack of awareness of the stock, the sub-1p price puts many people off straight away, and a large overhang.

A year or so ago the company was put in financial dire straits by a
well blowout and had to undertake large discounted placings to get
itself back on track, which it has done with a vengeance. However,
some of these placing shares, which represent some 25% of the company
are being sold into the market, depressing the price so that despite the fact that the companies prospects have improved dramatically over
the past year, the price has dropped by nearly 60%.

This makes the company an absolute bargain at these rock-bottom prices. In 6 months time I expect this to be worth 3-5 times the current price. SERIOUSLY.

There is plenty of research to get your teeth into, the best place to start is the website :

www.seftonresources.com

There are 2 excellent articles on Sefton on the following website by Ian Mclelland (Jan/Feb 2006) - well worth a read to get up to speed on this company and it's prospects:

Yes, especially if you hold this until April/May, when I expect this to have exceeded 1p.

mjr1234 - 24 Feb 2006 12:42 - 579 of 1047

cellby,

I have my own target below which I will not sell one single share. I am sticking to this as in the past I have made the mistake of selling far too early.
It is more than double the current price.

        JOKE OF THE DAY

The Lucky Donkey
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well.
The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer
tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided
the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered
up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the
donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and
help him. They each grabbed a shovel and began to shovel
dirt into the well.

At first, the donkey realized what was happening and
cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted
down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer looked down
the well and was astonished at what he saw.

As every shovel of dirt hit his back, the donkey did
something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step
up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt
on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a
step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed, as the donkey
stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off.

The Moral:
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.
The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off
and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping
stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not
stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less

A truly inspiring tale, Master. Cheers!

MJ - Looks like the Waltons have moved in. If this continues the squelch function may get some use... Must say you've called this week pretty well, credit where due well done....

mjr1234 - 24 Feb 2006 21:25 - 585 of 1047

Thanks explosive. I've got to admit, I didn't think it would get past 0.5p quite so soon, but now we have, I expect it to become a good support level. Should be more rises next week, but I do expect some pullbacks at some point, although again I expect them to be small and short-lived.

explosive - 24 Feb 2006 21:41 - 586 of 1047

Yeah I'm also predicting a small fall next week. The current pace is unexpected however it would seam the market was awoken to SERs potential.

Mickey Take - 25 Feb 2006 10:48 - 587 of 1047

Should Reach 1.4p + following news in March IMO

I'll take your word, but I did not see any 500K sell last Friday @ 0.54p

Master RSI - 27 Feb 2006 10:18 - 592 of 1047

Two large "T" trades earlier buys just reported at 0.60p

Those were the reason of the sudden move up

ravey davy gravy - 27 Feb 2006 10:22 - 593 of 1047

Thats not true.

The 2.4 mil was a worked sale filled by heavy smaller buying at higher prices.

mjr1234 - 27 Feb 2006 10:27 - 594 of 1047

2.4M T trade almost certainly a buy, given the opening bid/offer of 0.5/0.6.
I always assume intra-day T trades go in the direction of the price (ie if price has risen, it is a buy, if price has fallen, it is a sell). It seems to work most of the time.

Not that it matters of course.

ravey davy gravy - 27 Feb 2006 10:44 - 595 of 1047

You have to laugh.

I get critised for taking a 100% profit in under 2 months now on a trade !

Do not take any notice of the "fool" just big mouth no trousers
