Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Hi Ian

Been away for a week, logged on this morning but streaming won't connect even though I've logged off and on a couple of times. Any ideas please. Didn't have this problem before

czechmate,

Are you having a problem along the lines of what people have reported above (i.e. grey screen where prices shoudl be), or is it actually trying to connect to the stream and then not connecting?

If it is the latter, it may be a session cookie issue. E mail me to let me know and I will then advise you accordingly - ian@moneyam.com

Have the same problem today, as above with streaming

Ian

Many apologies, obviously didn't read posts thoroughly. Glad it's not just me as it's the grey screen syndrome. Will patiently await return of streaming :-) Thanks

Er, can I just say it's all working for me (XP, Opera 9.20, Sun Java Runtime Environment version 1.6). Also OK with FireFox 2.0.0.4, same Java.

Ian - working now.

Although still can't load more than four level 2 windows. Any idea why that might be the case?

It would be nice to have 3 decimal places.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 Jun 2007 10:13 - 5806 of 7315

Isaacs,

I have loaded up 6 different windows here - you could try restarting the platform, and trying again.

Those with streaming issues on Money AM, we are going to apply the fix that should get around the java issue you are having. I will let you know when released and this should clear the problem for you.

All,

For those of your with problems access streaming services on L2 and Stockwatch this morning, you should now be back up and running. can you refresh your screens, if that doesn't get you back on could you close down your browser and try again please?

Ian - restarted many times. Been like this for days. Perhaps a problem my end but just wondering if any ideas what it could be.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 Jun 2007 10:34 - 5810 of 7315

Isaacs,

HArd to say without looking, but it could be taht windows is limiting the number of Java instances you run at any given time. As I say we do not cap it and I am pretty sure that E trade don't, as I was able to launch 6 withoput any problems.

Ian

Many thanks for that all up and working my end.

Cheers

Isaacs - 12 Jun 2007 10:39 - 5812 of 7315

OK Ian sounds like I am snookered then. I know you and ET don't limit as been fine for years with 6 or 8. Not really sure what to do as can't go on with just four.......what is that other website called....ADVFN or something? ;)

Stan - 12 Jun 2007 10:50 - 5813 of 7315

No problem with MAM this morning but have lost the use of my 2nd phone line (other one's fine).

I'm with BT just wonder if there is a problem with them and that that is causing problems generally over the country.

Is that a possibility Ian.

Interestingly I had the same problem some weeks ago but after a week things came back to normal.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 Jun 2007 10:56 - 5814 of 7315

Stan,

No this was an unrelasted Java issue whic affected some of our users - not BT related

Ian

Thanks Ian, just traced the problem to my 2nd line (can't fix it just traced it -): ).
