as a holder I would not wish to dampen euphoria but royalty rates are bound to be under pressure by a competent [large] customer while financing any explosion in orders will have its' problems, no doubt that is the reason for the appointment of the new fin dir which looks a very good move.

driver - 25 Jan 2005 17:22 - 583 of 27111

Interesting to see Dynamite calling bosley the Guru of seo I once called him 007 it gave him the right hump, I first got seo in Feb 2002 I cant take any credit for that because I dont know why I purchased them in the first place I have added 5 times since.

As a sub note I got TFC (Trafficmaster) at about 11p the same sort of posting was being posted then, they shot to 110p I am sure seo will do even better.

dexter01 - 25 Jan 2005 17:31 - 584 of 27111

driver,
we hope, but just look at what that would make the m.cap!

driver - 25 Jan 2005 17:41 - 585 of 27111

dexter01

Yes but look at the M/cap of Lastminute.com (LMC) (Market Cap: 371.72m Price: 109.00p) and in my opinion that company isnt worth a toss.

Small Caps: Round-up of big-moving small companies
By Philip Stafford and Chris Flood
Published: January 25 2005 17:29 | Last updated: January 25 2005 17:29

■ News that Robert Boardman, formerly finance director at Durlacher and Altium Capital, had joined Stanelco as its finance director raised investor's interest on Tuesday. Mr Boardman's previous experience with Durlacher where he oversaw a major equity issue led to speculation that Stanleco, 1.5 per cent lower at 8p, is planning a similar rights issue. Stanelco has adapted radio frequency technology to food packaging. Trials with Asda are running currently and five other companies are rumoured to be interested. Stanelco denied it was looking for a rights issue and said Mr Boardman would help take the company through its current stage of development and help to release its full potential.

Interesting the large buys at the end of the session, hope it drops slightly so I can top up again...

bosley - 25 Jan 2005 20:12 - 589 of 27111

hello again driver( miss moneypenny) . well well, never mind . slightly down at the end. but tremendous volume. i see someone else picked up on the potenial rights issue possibilty. personally i wouldnt have too big a problem with it . seo may need more money to cope with possible demand. lets see what tomorrow brings.

andysmith - 25 Jan 2005 20:43 - 590 of 27111

Those were some serious buys this afternoon, sp dropped to facilitate this?
I want to top-up but when? Sins of working in Packaging mean visiting customer in Deutschland Weds/Thurs, what will I come back to? However, don't really give a shit, better this than worrying about my portfolio like last year!!! If it goes up, great, if it goes down on profit-taking its top-up time. Keep looking at the sums from Shares mag which Bosley posted and I have banged on about several times, potential is frightening. This is just the start.

Poverty - 26 Jan 2005 02:48 - 591 of 27111

I have never known so many people to get so excited about a lowly packaging company!!! Is it the second coming or something?? I have some SEO but I have doubts about it rising anything more than two or three times the sp that it is currently. A rights issue would NOT be good for the sp - and any issue would have to be weighty as there is already a huge 780,000,000 shares in issue. I think thay may do quite well - BUT - they are not yet in profit / they have a court case overhang and poss costs of 180K to pay / It is a full moon (not relevant but about as scientific as some of the posts in this thread!) Enjoy

andysmith - 26 Jan 2005 08:19 - 592 of 27111

Poverty, the point is SEO are not a lowly packaging company.
They are a technology company and in this particular instance are licensing this to a much needy meat packaging industry and their masters, the retailers.
Things always do well when there is a need and this has many advantages, reduced costs/lower waste/lower taxes.

Dynamite - 26 Jan 2005 08:58 - 593 of 27111

Well said Andy

bosley - 26 Jan 2005 09:27 - 594 of 27111

poverty,

" I have some SEO but I have doubts about it rising anything more than two or three times the sp that it is currently. "

you have doubts about seo rising anything more than two or three times the sp? if it does then for me that would ,in fact, be the second coming!!!!!i mean , there are loads of shares out there that have this obvious possibility.its so easy to double or treble your money. yes , seo are blue sky , but the blue skies are a hell of a lot closer for seo than a full moon. we all know the downside.nobody has forgotten the cc with bprg, but , as has been said many times before, the packaging side of seo , the technology , is 100% safe from the patent dispute. the company has confirmed this and seo have also said that the packaging side is what the company will be focused on in the future. the price has doubled from the recent low. a new coo and fd have recently been appointed. deals are being signed and trials are going well.its all good.

RD - 26 Jan 2005 10:26 - 595 of 27111

As a shareholder the one thing I'd really like to know about this company is how to pronounce it.
Stann-elko
Stannel-ko
Stainel-ko
Or what!
